[LOCH] Overframes Teased for the Other Heroes

    SanokalBy SanokalDecember 19, 202528 Comments

Teases for Overframe cards for the other Yu-Gi-Oh! protagonists.

Jump Festa has opened its doors, and guests have got a look at some additional teases for Overframe cards in Limit Over Collection: The Heroes.

    Favorite HERO Shining Flare Wingman

(This card’s name comes from Jaden calling his Elemental HERO Flame Wingman his “favourite card”.)

    Stardust Dragon – Victim Sanctuary

(This card’s name comes from the Victim Sanctuary effect of Stardust Dragon.)

Numbers 39 Hikari no Shisha Kibouoh Hope / Number 39: Utopia the Envoy of Light

(This card’s name comes from Astral’s summon chant for Number 39: Utopia.)

Shiten no Ryuu Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon / Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon of the Four

    Dimension Dragons

(This card’s name comes from the collective name Z-ARC uses for the four Dimension Dragons.)

    Decode Talker Integration

(This card’s name comes from the Power Integration effect of Decode Talker.)

As with the previously teased Overframes, their effects will be revealed during tonight’s OCG Times stream, starting at 2:15 PM JST.

Oh sweet mary, don’t tease me with the potential that New Utopia will be an Astral searcher

Hope more than just legacy cards get over frames, but I do hope “Starving Venom” & “Greedy Venom” do get some too.

Wow! These look so great! Its insane that Bruno Santo / Pablod / Negative_Break_1482 / Kronos457 – spent a good week to 2 weeks spam replying to everyone who suggested Over Frame Rares are gonna be exactly the same as Over Rush Rares and pretended to make out like he had it on “good authority” (source: his brain) that they were going to be completely new and distinct from them when nothing Konami said suggested they would be different from Over Rush Rares and that it literally is just a name change because the TCG can’t just say “Rush” without there being a weird overlap.

And now look – they’re exactly the same except the foil pattern looks different. But its effectively the Exact. Same. Thing.

@Design DM and BEWD ones are literally effect monsters and these cards have their effects hidden, how they can be exactly the same as the originals? I highly recommend you to go to a brain check up

They look so much better with the foil. I hope they don’t overprint them like QCRs.

They keep giving Stardust alt arts, and they all look hideous compared to the original TDGS art lol

It’s just like how Konami will never top the DDS Blue-Eyes artwork

Dm haters who were hating on the reveal of Dark Magician and Blue-Eyes as the first full art cards must feel embarassed, oh god. Puting that aside, I think my favorite of these six has to be the Dark Magician still.

I’m so stoked for the Decode Talker.
It might even search it’s signature spell.

Since Blue-eyes got it’s own, should we be expecting the rivals to appear as well?
      Cyber Dragon?

Wow… I didn’t think the name “Overframe” was so literal XD They look good, I just hope they don’t stick with this approach exclusively and experiment more with the full artwork

      But it’s a good start, I guess

        2018 never happened, move along.

I really hope that the new cards come in lower rarities so we don’t need 3 copies of these for insane new effects just so they can make more money off us Americans who already can barely afford to play anymore

That’s what I thought too which is why I was wondering if there will be regular versions for people to play that won’t break the bank

    14. 999 on December 20, 2025 12:01 am

We know that Blue-Eyes is getting one in this set so i highly doubt the only Rival who is getting an OverRush rare is Kaiba so expect:
-Armed Dragon Over Level (or Cyber End Dragon – Final Evolution, or Destiny Hero Plasma retrain)
      -Red Demon’s Dragon – Powerforce
      -Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon retrain
      -A new D/D/D/D
      And a new Borreload

Kaiba isn’t just a rival, he was also considered the main character in the Dark Side of Dimensions film.

      • Kuroisenpu on December 20, 2025 2:30 am

I think Kaiba is just a special case, he is probably the most popular rival and blue-eyes is also the most popular deck among all the rival decks.

Really annoying how, for links, over frame cards have their artwork cluttered with link arrows. We need to change the card format if we want over frames to look better
