[TCG-BPRO] Two GMXs & DARK Dragon Synchro

    SanokalBy SanokalJanuary 19, 202625 Comments

Quik-Fix decided to work for a clever girl who became a biblically accurate raptor.

    BPRO-EN095 – GMX – VELOX (Super Rare)
Level 8 DARK Dinosaur Fusion Effect Monster
    ATK/2700
    DEF/1300
    1 “GMX” monster + 1 Dinosaur monster
Each time your opponent Normal or Special Summons a monster(s), gain 200 LP. During your opponent’s turn (Quick Effect): You can target 1 card your opponent controls; excavate the top cards of your Deck until you excavate a “GMX” monster or a Dinosaur monster, lose 400 LP for each excavated card, add that “GMX” monster or Dinosaur monster to your hand or Special Summon it, and shuffle the rest into the Deck. Also, after that, destroy the targeted card. You can only use this effect of “GMX – VELOX” once per turn.

BPRO-EN090 – GMX Researcher Selande (Super Rare)
Level 3 FIRE Warrior Effect Monster
    ATK/1500
    DEF/700
If this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 non-Warrior “GMX” monster or 1 Level 3 or lower Dinosaur monster from your Deck. If this card is Special Summoned by a monster effect: You can add 1 “GMX” Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand. If a Dinosaur Fusion Monster is on the field: You can shuffle this card from the field into the Deck, and if you do, negate the effects of 1 face-up card on the field until the end of this turn. You can only use each effect of “GMX Researcher Selande” once per turn.

    BPRO-EN089 – Storm-Bane Dragon Destorbim (Common)
Level 11 DARK Dragon Synchro Effect Monster
    ATK/3000
    DEF/2800
    1 Tuner + 1+ non Tuners
Your opponent cannot target this card with card effects. You can only use each of the following effects of “Storm-Bane Dragon Destorbim” once per turn. You can banish any number of DARK monsters from your GY that cannot be Normal Summoned/Set; banish that many cards your opponent controls. This is a Quick Effect if your opponent controls more cards than you do. If this card is sent to the GY: You can Special Summon 1 of your banished Dragon monsters.

BPRO-EN083 – Mischief of the Wolves (Common)
    Quick-Play Spell Card
    Apply these effects in sequence:
    ● Reduce the Levels of all monsters your opponent controls by 2.
    ● Increase the Levels of all monsters you control by 2.
During your Main Phase, if this card is in your GY because it was sent there this turn: You can target 1 face-up card you control; destroy it, and if you do, add this card to your hand. You can only use this effect of “Mischief of the Wolves” once per turn.

Rokket Loader is confirmed as an Ultra Rare, and Fallen of the White Dragon is a Secret Rare.

Mischief of the Wolves seems like a good card to use in a deck with monsters that like to get popped

Think a little laterally. It’s to pop FA field spells.

Okay, now I’m a bit lost with GMX. The effects are more or less consistent, but the distribution of types and attributes is weird af

That rock fusion is not a GMX monster. It’s just a completely unrelated TCG premiere. We haven’t seen their backrow yet, but when it comes to main deck monsters they seem entirely to be scientists, you’re supposed to use them along with already existing dino monsters

      • Baroque on January 19, 2026 11:47 pm

I mean, Aleph O, I think D.D not D/D has a fair point about the odd distribution of Types — to wit, we’ve so far seen a Psychic (Dr. Young Magical Scientist himself), a Reptile (Noma), and now a Warrior (Selande here) that happens to be able to summon small Dinosaurs (in addition to their coworkers), so we’re looking at an archetype that’s equal turns Type-agnostic and Dinosaur-favoring, which is . . . strange, I’ll freely admit. Not inherently unworkable, just strange.

Hopefully they give us a Main Deck Dinosaur that fits the theme’s wants (since Selande is looking for a Level 3 or lower Dino, and a lot of the archetype wants to be Special Summoned by a monster effect for fun and profit)? It’d have to be BPRO-EN093, if so, but something is better than the . . . surprising lack of decent options we have already, upon some searching. Wow, Level 3 Dinosaurs is a rather shallow pool . . .

I think the GMX dinosaurs might be limited to the Fusion Monsters. Maybe the back row will have something that allows for non-dinos to be treated as dinos?

      • Yod on January 20, 2026 10:16 am

So far they remind me a bit of something like dragunity
They have a clear theme which is supported by the types, but the exact choice of types is less than conventional

Luckily this all means that they wont get a hard type lock, and since the effect of the velociraptor fusion monster lets you either add or summon the monster, they might be able to work under other xeno locks which prevent the summoning of monsters

The thing which is very clear however is that we havent seen some very important piece of the strategy (i assume the field spell), since the small guys all want to be summoned by something speciffic, which simply isnt quite there yet

Of course White Albaz and Spenta are secret.

The new dragon synchro is excellent to use in either RDA or Rokket dragon decks.

Imagine losing because your disruption was negated by Ash Blossom.

synchro good in malefic for mass pop since all of your main deck guys that arent the level 1 an 2 can not be normal summoned/set

Weirdly that Mischeif of the Wolves is F.A. support.
A really solid send off Foolish Burial Goods, too.

Unfortunate. The last 2 TCG exclusives were VERY good, but ig those were flukes. Truly, truly unfortunate, i wanted to like this dino theme

I think it will work well in genesys, though
It’s possible that it was designed for that format

Its too early to say that yet

We havent seen all the first wave support yet, and they already have quick effect card removal card which also add or summons a card

The fact that this archetype seems really weird and out there shouldnt distract you from how incredible this could be

      • Chained Snake Serpent Simp on January 20, 2026 12:18 pm

        @Yod
Why do you so positive about this ?
We don’t see weird cards like this in Mitsurugi, and R.B. looks much more promising.
Also, we haven’t seen any Level 6 or higher Fire Fiends or WATER Dinosaurs in this deck that can work with Infernal Punisher.

    12. 911 on January 20, 2026 4:57 am

What is this crap? Even R.B. is better than whatever is this. Guess they are coreect there is nothi ng can be wrong about this sh*t..

Ocg busy to break the game with the new design mechanic and overframe cards retrain. While we (TCG) PLAYERS are getting this bull??

There is no need to further reveals this archetype, since they are sooo bad. 😊
Their dinos form are sick, though!

    13. N on January 20, 2026 11:55 am

As I predicted the top Deck was crucial and the Fusions are the primary extenders. However their overreliance on these Fusions proves to be their undoing unless we know what 55 will be.

#55 is just a field Spell. With eff of place cards from the GY into the Deck.

    14. Chained Snake Serpent Simp on January 20, 2026 12:31 pm

We aready have DARK Dinosaur Fusion for Noma and LIGHT for Kimridge. The last Dinosaur Fusion should be FIRE for Selande. There will be no room for good engines in this Deck.
