Everyone I know is pleased about how things have gone. The head judge in particular is elated: Oceania came out in force for its first YCS, and we hope to see more of them soon. The Organization has friends in far-flung places, boots on the ground at every backstage, and eyes and ears everpresent. We’ve already posted about the winner’s deck. Some acquaintances of ours at High Level Gaming have obtained some additional decklists from the event, and wish to share them with you. Join me behind the cut to view them.

Member number 12 of the Organization, Mr. K, will be taking a leave of absence. He looks forward to returning to the Organization as soon as possible: he particularly looks forward to continuing his work on Column K, and he wanted me to let our readers know that he regrets needing this absence. We wish our dear friend well and hope he returns to us quickly.

We were approached by a small group of players in November. They seemed interested in providing a product to the community, so we looked into their product. I told them: If you send a sample to the Organization, we would review the sample quality and speak of it to our readers. They have now provided their sample. I shall now speak to you of it. I am quite pleased. Follow me beyond the breakpoint to learn more.
We were planning to run an event today, but because a large number of entrants entered without paying and without having a free admission coupon, we were forced to terminate the illegitimate entrants. This left behind a very small number of people who actually entered the event properly. We agreed. For that reason, we are refunding admission paid, and rescheduling…
Shueisha’s brought us something nice. I’ve a story to tell you though, about how Shueisha brought us this nice thing.

We of the Organization, especially the judges in our fold, know that some things are confusing. Last format, a card that confused some of our players around the world was Droll & Lock Bird. We instructed players on how to use it, when they were confused – and now, in some respects, Droll has fallen out of favor. No longer does it read “stop that misplayed Judgment right now.” But several of our players at our various local tournaments have additional questions. “Is Droll’s effect a Trigger Effect, or a Quick Effect?” “Is it possible for me to activate something…
On August 1, we announced a contest celebrating the launch of our site. That contest has ended, and we’re happy to announce our winner.
