Nice buffs for everything overall.
If we get a Oblisk blue version of this I am so hoping among some hopeful ancient gear support, we get some ojama, and Cyber dragon support.
We have literally burned through every CyDra card in anime AND manga. There is nothing left. I don’t think AG have anything more from GX either. We just got their one 5Ds card last year. The rest is from Arc-V.
There are SOME Crowler cards that weren’t released from GX like Crazy Summoning Gear and a few traps, like Unfinished Time Box. Do I want them? Would be nice. Do I have a huge urge and need for them? Nope.
And afterwards, the rest, as pointed, is fully ARC-V.
How soon we forget Time Fusion and Cards From DD
If we do, I’m hoping for some Atticus’ Red-Eyes stuff.
It’s not the concept of the Pack I think. Misawa is Ra Yellow and he got support in it.
Slifer means season 1, Ra Yellow should be Season 2, Obelisk Blue Season 3.

We have certainly NOT burned through every Cydra card in the anime and manga. Disregarding unreleased cards that Kaiser played that could be changed to better fit the archetype such as Time Fusion, Power Load, Warp Beam, or retraining classic cards like Bomber Dragon, the manga has several named Constellation Cybers that are unreleased as well. If we can can turn a monster from O’Brian’s NIGHTMARE of Haou into an Evil Hero card, we can certainly do the same for the Cyber-style.

There’s also Power Load. Although, that’s from season 3, so if the do the dorm packs by season, we will have to wait until the Obelisk Blue pack, assuming it or the Ra Yellow pack happens!

A disadvantage of chaos distill is it only banishes cards sent to your graveyard, so it will not disrupt your opponents graveyard.
Chaos Distill searches Macro Cosmos. So the idea is that you can get the really nasty card at the expense of floodgating yourself first.
So you want a deck that likes its stuff banished.
The only card that mentions Macro Cosmos at this point in time is Grand Convergence. I wonder if we’ll get Grand Alignment, or retrains of Helios.

Because Macro is a Trap, so you can’t benefit from the free body when you activate it on your opponent’s turn.
Hero’s rule can be decent in labrynth. Labrynth has difficulty with decks that rely heavily on the graveyard. Nice option

I’m betting we’re gonna get Eucalyptus Mole from Chumley, if only because of all the Koala reprints in this pack.
@MystikX Looking at the full list of reprints, I think it could be more likely that we get a new card for each character whose cards are reprinted in here. Cause excluding the two Archfiend cards, we have both reprints and a new card for Bastion, Jaden, and Banner/Amnael so far. And the other characters in here are: Crowler, Chazz, Alexis, Syrus, Zane, and Chumley. However, everyone but Crowler has multiple cards of theirs reprinted in here. So…if we’re going based on that, then the other five new cards could be one new card each for Chazz, Alexis, Syrus, Zane, and Chumley. As for Crowler…maybe one of his Ancient Gears gets the new variant artwork. Then it would fully round out every character getting something new in this set.
Just seeing Magnum ± in the thumbnail already made me mald, didn’t even have to read it.

Why didn’t Hero’s Rule 2 get a title? Text is strictly better than Disappear/Lost which is different than something just being obsolete in 99 out of 100 situation. Happens with old traps much more often than monsters.
Speaking of Archfiend Matador why not slap a “cannot switch control” clause on Cyber Blader (and similar cards) to prevent infinite loops instead?
Maybe next pack is season 2 focused.

I doubt they’ll ever release those spells just like they didn’t release the other “check out this alchemy reference!” spells that summoned homunculus and the other helios. It’s tall-enough order to ask Knomai to do something creative to differentiate the 6 beasts.
I just found out about the tcg skill card: “Helios” monsters you control cannot be banished. That would’ve been a nice add-on to Distill even though it creates a textual contradiction that causes the world to explode.
They wasted 7 spots in Animation Chronicle on the Advanced Crystal Beasts that didn’t need to exist as actual cards instead of releasing any of the actual Crystal Beast support cards that could have been useful.
Monsters always get priority. Golden Rule was released later that year tho? The G-E-M series would be funny for different reasons. If Last Resort wasn’t released yet it could’ve been reworked for both the field spells and other perks. My only problem is there wasn’t a remake of Rainbow Dark Dragon closer to its anime version (make it a fusion if you must) to go alongside. Naturally I’ll never acknowledge the ocg version.

Oh. You have to play a Ritual Package to get the millage out of the Archfiend Ritual consistently. Kinda worth it though since the Spell can SS an Archfiend and the Ritual searches two Archfiend cards.

Hi, there might be a chance they will but the pack that contains those archetypes isn’t getting released until the end of June so it’s likely to only be revealed in May/early June.
Sadly this will be a kaiba briefcase scenario very few in circulation and very pricy
The TCG will probably just throw them in a regular set.

Not true. The briefcase gave us 3 new cards: Life Shaver, Magical Trick Mirror, and Attack Guidance Armor. Technically 4 for the TCG with Grappler.

Because this is OCG and Osiris us only called Slifer in the dub.
It’s clear that Chaos Distill’s “intended combo” is -Activate, -Add Macro Cosmos, -Activate Macro Cosmos during the opponents turn, -Macro Cosmos special Summons Helios, -Banish Chaos Distill, -Add Helios Duo, -Summon Helios Duo.
And while I’m glad to see support for the Helios cards, it’s a shame that it doesn’t address the two main flaws of the Helios monsters. 1-They’re too slow for the modern game environment (They’re basically vanillas + the ability to come back if destroyed by battle) and 2-They inherently nonbo with their own support cards (They only come back after being destroyed by battle, if they were sent to the graveyard when Macro Cosmos as well as now Chaos Distill would banish them).
I predict future support Given the amount of character archetype created in last decade. You know, where Konami retains a bunch of Monsters a character in the anime use that all gravity toward their icon card. The ground work already there with “Chaos Distill” operating has an Archetype searcher. So I imagine we’ll see “Helios” Monsters that can Special Summon themselves from Banishment upon destruction.

Vylons can’t get a card in over 11 years but macros cosmos, an archetype no one plays save the one card the archetype is named after, gets a support card that’ll probably never be played by like 99% of people and will probably be abused (if even) just to search the floodgate that can be reached by much more consistent means
