Worst “structure decks” of all time right here…

    • November 4, 2023 at 6:51 pm

i agree and the fac that no new card and the good cards are in the power up pack make it worst

    • November 4, 2023 at 8:03 pm

You do realize these packs are not meant to be new products for the TCG right? its a version of the card game for SEA Yugioh audience. Its basically the OCG, just the cards are in English instead of Japanese. Its not meant to be New, its to introduce Yugioh to Asian Market in countries where English is the Lingua Franca.

From a very quick check (So I may well have missed some)…
The Dark Magician deck contains 14 reprints
The Blue-Eyes deck contains 10 reprints
The remaining 100 should all be first print in this language.

Anyone complaining about no new cards here really don’t get what these decks are-

The God card structure decks would like a word. They worked hard to be THAT terrible

I know I’m in the extreme minority on this, but I would totally buy TCG versions of these decks. Won’t happen, but hopefully we do get TCG equivalents of those Yugi and Kaiba decks being re-released in the OCG.

They don’t give Maxx C for Blue-Eyes SD? Dammit, I was expecting to get one

Whatever happened that Chinese OCG from a few years back? The one that started with the clas.s.ic Blue-Eyes structure deck being the only legal cards at first. Then LTGY and some generic sets. There used to be news updates from time to time but then silence.

    • November 5, 2023 at 3:23 am

We have only one staff member specializing in Chinese and they haven’t been interested in reporting on it, but it’s been going along.

Lol, lmao even. Good for them that they don’t need to spend £12,000 on 3 copies of Magicians’ Souls, Soul Servant and a Guardian Chimera though. As usual, only the TCG gets shafted on the prices of such things.

I happen to own a Blue-eyes deck wich has been rather costly to build and has taken me a while to obtain certain rare cards such as Bingo-machine go as well as Blue-eyes Jet dragon (before the tins came out). Anyways to cut along story short I was willing to let all these new reprints slide despite the knock on effect on my cards overall value if the deck came out with new support cards for the Blue-eyes archetype but it didn’t!!! I do recall Konami announcing that the release of these two structure decks would make Blue-eyes and Dark magician decks meta but this is a total disappointment. I hope for the value of my cards sake that these two products/decks do not become available in the TCG or I’m done with yugioh! Thank you for ruining my weekend.

No offense, but I now hope even more that these get TCG equivalent releases, lol.

  • November 6, 2023 at 3:23 am

Great making the useful cards available only in the power up pack together with a ton of cards the old players already have. This was a scam. They asked for payment deposits already months before release. They only showed the contents a week before release. They said, these would make dm and bewd meta as well. This was the last straw. I feel so cheated.

  • November 6, 2023 at 11:48 am

There’s no way those 3 back cover cards aren’t a tease of new support. Why would there be 3 random unknown cards in the structure decks, if not a way to say that there will be new cards but they won’t show them to us yet?

  • November 6, 2023 at 7:08 pm

These in my opinion, are the worst decks. I hope the TCG would release a better versions of the 2 Structure decks with a better list with more Extra Deck monsters from both decks to make it more consisted to the Meta because the list we got are a few reprints of Dark Magician and Blue-Eyes support, which is good, but it lacks better cards missing from the decks like Master of Chaos, Dark Cavalry, The Dark Magicians, Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon, Blue Eyes Twin Burst Dragon or Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. This is what its missing. Please Konami, redesign the deck lists to make it much better that you promised us.
