Blue-Eyes gonna stomp ya, Obelisk rolling up his non-existent sleeves to deck ya. No, these aren’t actually Toon monsters.
Pre-orders have begun on Premium Bandai for the next installment of Megahouse’s MEGATOON figures, Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Obelisk the Tormentor. While they haven’t been announced for a Western release yet, the previous two MEGATOONS – Dark Magician and Slifer the Sky Dragon – were released in Western stores. We’ll update you if these two are likewise released in the West.

I don’t know why there calling them Toon figure. Because there not Toon monsters. They don’t have the crazy eyes or wired anatomy the other Toon monsters have. There just mini figures.
It’s the style of figure they’ve chosen, though I do agree it’s a tad confusing.
They keep announcing all of this Toon merch, but they aren’t giving us the Toon cards. They literally have designs for like 10 Toon monsters through various merch, why haven’t they printed any of them? Last new stuff was Toon Chaos that was over 4 years ago.
My only hope is some eventual Pegasus support that includes new Toon monsters and some new Illusion type retrains of his other cards.
There was that one time in the manga when Dragon Capture Jar turned into a Toon. They could release it as a good counter for Dragon monsters.
If only they release toon supports too. They badly needs more support, and their own ED cards. Compared to other villains’ deck, like Gimmick Puppet, toons are undersupport. Wish they give valkyrie support too. They are undersupport, too. They need new cards, to be more useful than just collectors’ things at MD.
