Note: 復活パターン is basically “Revival Pattern”, where in a video game, you use the fact you restart on the screen with none of your power-ups and quickly re-establish your set-up. This term was pioneered with Gradius because a smart and seasoned player can easily turn losing a life and power ups into an advantage, and Gradius is extremely easy to do this tactic if you know what you’re doing.
