RD/ORP4-JP074 幻惑の光 Genwaku no Hikari (Light of Bewitchment)
Normal Spell Card
【REQUIREMENT】 During a turn that “Light of Bewitchment” has not been activated, declare the Attribute of a face-up Spellcaster monster on your field.
【EFFECT】 Choose 1 face-up monster on your opponent’s field and its Attribute becomes the Attribute declared for this effect’s requirement until the end of the turn. After this card is activated, you can Set it instead of sending it to the Graveyard.

I love attribute change
Is this for the charmer’s?
yep
HERE’S WHAT I CAN GATHERED:
– During a turn that “Light of Bewitchment” has not been activated, Is essentially Rush Duel’s way of saying that it is Hard Once Per Turn. Meaning that you can only activate a single copy of “Light of Bewitchment” per turn and only one copy that turn to prevent any abuse from using the effect multiple times.
– It gaves an extra option (unlike from the advance format version) to use it again at the very next turn by setting it to your backrow instead.
– this card is meant to built for Charmers (obviously).
– My biggest surprise for me: that it is not an Equip Spell, despite the fact that Rush Duel already has Equips in the game since its introduction in Go Rush.
Like Maximum and Field Spells, Equip Spells have been largely neglected since the Anime ended in the Rush Duels format.
Strategies focused on these mechanics are currently few and far between in Rush.
It’s not generic because Praime Dwarf can just then steal any opponent’s monster as Fusion material. (Also future proofs similar cards.)
It’s not an Equip Spell because Celeb Rose will just snatch this up as their entire game plan is recovering Equip Spells, and as they don’t have locks on most of their attacks or effects (only Secrets of Manifestation locks into LIGHT after used).
In the event they plan to eventualy release Lyssa this will end up being too good for them.
I think the most innovative thing about this card is that it can be set and used again on your next Turn instead of being lost and not recovered when it’s in the GY.
Of course, your Opponent can destroy it with Backrow remover at the end of the day.
Konami remade Scroll of Bewitchment, but heavily reduced its power for this format. It isn’t generic due to Praime Dwarf, and it only works with Spellcasters to rein its power in, as the Charmers will almost certainly steal an opponent’s monster and then use it as material for a Fusion or Ritual Summon.
On this note makes me a bit glad Lyssa wasn’t printed here – as Celeb Rose would easily recover this card to steal any opponent’s monster. Charmers being elemental Attribute ensures this doesn’t happen.
