A Double Feature to send-off Original Sinful Spoils…
Build One: CDP: World Legacy Orcust T.G. Generaider Therion Veidos Sinful Spoils, ft. QCTB Support
Enter the Multiverse of Lore Decks.
Replays:
Strategic Summary:
Today’s CDP is another to enhance a profile dropped earlier this year, and this time we’re revisiting my ‘World Legacy’ variant now that the new Orcust Link monsters have dropped. If you missed my last time covering this with Veidos and more Ashened friends, be sure to check that out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88UDxmDfWdY
The World Legacy strategy is fairly straightforward – combine as many of the World Legacy support themes together to achieve awesome Link Summoning combos, and build towards a solid endboard that’s difficult to disrupt. For example, the Mekk-Knight monsters, including Mekk-Knight Purple Nightfall and Mekk-Knight Blue Sky each tutor additional Mekk-Knights to enter the fray, while the DARK/Machine World Legacy monsters themselves facilitate Special Summoning. The most powerful World Legacy theme is undoubtedly the Orcust, the star of today’s build, as they leverage tons of DARK Special Summoning to build up to empowered Link monsters as well as the R8NK Xyz Monster, Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star. The first new Orcust that helps this strategy is Galatea-i, the Orcust Automaton (YGOrg Translation). This LINK-1 lets you tutor or recover any World Legacy Monster or Orcustrated Babel, plus it even Special Summons itself back from the GY for more shenanigans later in the turn. On the other side, Enlilgirsu, the Orcust Mekk-Knight (YGOrg Translation) is a new LINK-4 monster, recovering a banished Orcust or World Legacy card, then offering you the ability to take control of an opponent’s face-up monster. Remember, the effects of both of these Orcusts become Quick Effects once Babel is on the field, so they both enable access to everything you need to win the duel.
But beyond this World Legacy Monstrosity, there’s also something else I want to cover – so many other supporting engines to build World Legacy combos before you ever need to use a single Orcust effect. The T.G. engine is up first, with T.G. Rocket Salamander summoning T.G. Screw Serpent from deck, turning into a quick path to Ib the World Chalice Justiciar. Rocket also happens to come directly out of the deck due to Original Sinful Spoils – Snake-Eye, which means that Diabellstar the Black Witch and WANTED: Seeker of Sinful Spoils serve as access to that engine. Then you have the actual Monstrosity engine itself, targeting any Level 9 monster you control such as Veidos the Eruption Dragon of Extinction to Special Summon 2 other Level 9 monsters, leading into the Generaider Boss engine. With the help of Vala, Seidhr of the Generaider Bosses and Mardel, Generaider Boss of Light, you’ll enable access to the R9NK Xyz Monster, Laevatein, Generaider Boss of Shadows to add to your endboard. Also, when summoned, Mardel leads you into the Therion engine by tutoring the Plant-type Therion “Lily” Borea. That covers all of the subengines, but did you notice that each put a Level 5+ monster on the board? That means you have ever so many combinations to make a full power World Gears of Theurlogical Demiurgy. Not only that, but it also puts other Monster Card Types into play, so that Firewall Dragon Singularity can bounce up to 2 or 3 different cards the opponent controls during their turn as well! In short, all of these engines work in harmony to support one expanded World Legacy Lore Deck, now with a multiverse of plotlines!

Build Two: CDP: Nordic Snake-Eye Sinful Spoils Nemeses
Need a use for Aesir cards pulled from your OTS packs?
Replays:
Strategic Summary:
Ever want to combine the power of Aesir Gods with overpowered Level 1 monsters? Then today is that day, because we’re throwing the two together! The Nordic archetype exists as a hodgepodge of different lower-leveled monsters whose existence lends itself to bringing out the Level 10 Aesir Synchro monsters: Odin, Father of the Aesir, Loki, Lord of the Aesir, and Thor, Lord of the Aesir. These Level 10 Synchros require a specific Nordic subtheme Tuner, plus any 2 non-Tuners to Synchro Summon, which is so restrictive that they were given their own LINK-1 to solve that: Gullveig of the Nordic Ascendant. Gullveig can banish up to 3 cards from the hand/field when Link Summoned to Special Summon that many Nordic monsters from your Deck. Or, you can elect to just banish Alviss of the Nordic Alfar, as Alviss can then send a Nordic you control and 2 from your deck to Special Summon any Aesir from your Extra Deck! The optimal combo here is to Special Summon Nordic Smith Ivaldi, tutor Nordic Relic Svalinn while bringing out a free Aesir, and adding a full-field negate to your Snake-Eye endboard.
So let’s talk about how the Snake-Eye monsters fit into this picture. You see, Snake-Eye Ash can add a Level 1 FIRE on Summon, such as Snake-Eye Poplar, and from there, the advantage train just starts chugging along. Access to Ash to begin this combo is easy as well, because Bonfire and Original Sinful Spoils – Snake Eye gives you access to it, and you can get to Original via Diabellstar the Black Witch and/or WANTED: Seeker of Sinful Spoils. Sure, I’ll address the elephant in the room, you could always replace the entire Nordic engine with more and more hand Traps, but what would really be the fun in that? The final piece of the puzzle that the Nordic do bring is an array of Attributes and banishing to support the Nemeses monsters, giving you access to Archnemeses Protos. If all that isn’t enough fun spice, I’m also including Formud Skipper and Parallel eXceed to the build, giving you easier access to R4NK summons when you Link Summon, but also as a back-alley way to get into a Gullveig play. Enjoy my yet another attempt to make a fun causal build out of meta cards, and catch you next time with my take on what will certainly be a future meta threat for the TCG.
