Strategic Summary:

Concluding my string of bringing updated builds to archetypes I’ve covered before, is an profile of an updated Drytron build, following their release into the TCG. The Drytron are a set of LIGHT/Machine ritual monsters that may be the aggro OTK deck most suited to blowing up the negation metagame that existed in the prior TCG format. They have two unique characteristics in the Ritual design space. First, they Ritual Summon using ATK values rather than Levels using their in-theme Ritual Spell, and second, all of the Drytron Effect monsters prevent you from Special Summoning any monsters that can be Normal Summoned/Set during a turn you use their effect. In other words, you are forced to rely on supporting monsters from the Extra Deck or that can only be Special Summoned by effects. In today’s build, we’re employing the same Cyber Angel engine as before, as Cyber Angel Natasha and Cyber Angel Benten synergize extremely well with the Dytron. Additionly, we’re also dusting off Ritual Sanctuary, a field spell to ensure increased consistency and recycling by being able to summon back Chaos Valkyria once she hits the GY. Finally, the twin Drytron boss monsters headline this build with the ability to end the duel quickly once they hit the board. So get ready to shoot for the moon with the Drytron!
