Creative Deck Profile: Ancient Bujin-Warrior Brigade

Beast-Warrior archetypes unite to back the Bujin in an amalgamation of Beast-Warrior strengths!

Replays:

Strategic Summary:

The Bujin theme may have been a slow control theme in the past, but it must take on a new identity to compete in the modern game. Backed by Tribrigade monsters for consistent access to Link monsters while the Bujin side focuss upon Xyz monsters, this mishmash strategy blends the advantages of various summoning mechanics, easily getting multiple monsters onto the field through a variety of means. Even an Ancient Warriors engine joins the fray, adding more disruption options and alternative play patterns depending on the hand. All engines converge on facilitating the summon of the Bujins 3-material R4NK monster, Bujinki Amaterasu! Lastly, the Bujin’s unique way of ending the duel early on with the Black Garden OTK is still maintained in this build, especially since it is such an aggressive variation of the archetype. Beast-Warriors combine forces behind the Bujin, or in other words, many themes embrace their inner Bujinunity!

Note: As many of these cards were only recently released to the OCG, most of the names used below are YGOrg translations of the OCG text. As these cards are also yet to be released even in the OCG or backed by official rulings, card interactions as they currently stand cannot be fully guaranteed. As always, I’ve provided links to the Yugipedia pages for all of the non-TCG cards in the decklist. Feel free to use those links to fully explore the Tribrigade theme!

Hello everybody! I serve as Number VIII of the Organization; however, my main role is writing Deck Strategy articles and generating non-news content for the site! Gotta love those underused archetypes...
