“Duel Terminal” World Addendum: Program “return 0;”
Weapons developed to eliminate an outside enemy, and discarded at the end of the battle. Although people thought they met their end quietly, in reality they were embedded with a special program that can shake the fate of the planet.

There was a certain planet with various different tribes living on it that was suddenly attacked by “Worms” that came from outer space. The scattered tribes united as one and developed weapons that incorporated the “Genex”, which can produce natural energy.

Genex
Ally of Justice Decisive Armor
They were lifeforms that have existed in the world since the olden times, capable of producing natural energy. The various tribes used “Controller” to communicate with them, and half-forced them into being used as weapons.
Worm
Worm Zero
Organic material attached to a meteorite that flew in from outer space. In adapting to the environment of the planet, it evolved in many different ways and attacked many different tribes. It was a disaster that threatened to cover the world in death.
Controller Re-Activates
The decisive weapons of “Ally of Justice” were wrecked during the showdown with Worms. “Spare”, which was incorporated into one of those weapons had ceased all functions, and barely able to move anymore. “Controller” also waited for its own end. Right before its demise, “Controller” was infected by the wicked thoughts of the “Evilswarm”, but it was released from their by a special program re-installed by the other remaining Genex: “return 0;”. Without a word, Controller “Repaired” itself with parts from “Spare”. In its hand it grasped the important flower that reminded it of the past memories of “Spare”…
“return 0;” Activates
The revival of Sophia” also means the re-activation of the special program “return 0;”. The Genex work hard on environmental improvement..but in reality, their true purpose was to destroy the world created by “Sophia”, and create a world for “Tierra”. They were able to fool even the Worldcreation God and develop “Return Zero” in secret while following their special programming. This new final weapon with “Repaired” incorporated into it entered the battle trying to bring both God, and all that was created by God, into nothingness.

Even if we never get new Worm 👾 monsters I still want a Fusion spell that helps summoning Worm Zero alot easier.
With the Duel Terminal Sets we might get new Worm cards, so who knows

Maybe in Terminal World 2, but I kinda doubt it since we already got 2 archetypes that’s from part 1 of the story (Fabled and Jurrac) and Worms are featured in part 1. And if they keep the same pattern in TW1, we should get 2 archetypes from the early part (Worms, X-Saber, Ice Barrier) and 2 from the later parts (Gishki, Nekroz, Zefra)

@Nyurgh we all know Sophia is one of the villains, the actual issue here that new lore’s implication that Genex was trying to destroy the world… Which doesn’t make any sense since they fought alongside other tribes to PROTECT IT in the previous lore entries

Even with Ausa the earth channeler, the pure Genex is too slow. I was referring the pure ones, not the engine ones

Slow is not the word I’d use to describe them. Fragile yes but a deck with near infinite normal summons can’t be that slow.

Not evil- they’re still good guys trying to heal the planet- but, Tierra snuck a secret order in to tell them to kill Sophia if she ever called on them.

Tierra made it into
“If Return=0, then unseal the Infernoid.
If Infernoid are unsealed, then kill Sophia.
If Sophia is killed, then planetfix.”

Tierra messing with the Genex Code would also would explain why Infernoid Evil and Infernoid Flood look like they incorporate R-Genex themes into their design. Tierra had been using them all along
