Illustrator’s comment:
“Masquerena is an incredibly versatile monster, having it cosplayed, turned into a posable figure, supervised, etc., and after drawing the reference art with directions for each of these occasions, I ended up with these many pieces of artwork. While thankful for the opportunity, it overlapped with other work I had queued up which proved to be difficult, but even so I kept drawing her over and over.”
TL note: “Supervised” here (監修, kanshuu) is a term used for when a third party creates a figure/model of the character, and it’s then “supervised” by someone with the seal of approval on whether it fits with the image of the character or not. The illustrator is mentioning that, among other cases where Masquerena was used as a character, one type of case is a third party creating a prototype for the figure, and then the illustrator would provide details as to what the concept of the character is like to the supervisor, who would then make a decision on the prototype.

“What about this kind of impression?”
TL note: The notes aren’t readable enough to determine for sure which part is supposed to extend. Maybe the illustrator means the ears, the tongue, or the general shape of the helmet
