Think they’re just gonna make one for each attribute so this is what the YCS prize will looke like for the next 3 years.
Just a reminder Blood Mefist and Duel Link Dragon, the Duel Dragon still haven’t been released to the wide public in the TCG for whatever reason.
If only it was a core set card and not a YCS prize. Could have been a nice incentive for Konami to finally print Fire Effigy.

The actual thing we want is good cards that can already be obtained in a pack but with either a special artwork or a fancy YCS rarity. Something that can be used, but isn’t mandatory.
this is literally a compromise. they’re completely playable without overshadowing any other cards. people are whining too much.

Level 5 with 2,5k ATK and convenient 200 DEF with this type and attribute would not be super crazy but would make it work with Rekindling and rest of the Laval crap. How it stands rn it’s just another Level 8 2,5k/2k vanilla.

This is also the 151st Pyro monster introduced to the game.

A way for Konami to not pay the people who invest their life into this game
yeah the people who usually comment here act like they’re gonna ever get this card. as long as the big players keep playing (and paying), they can cry all they want about prizes.
I thought Takahashi didn’t want cash as prizes cause he didn’t want players to turn the game into a career.

In case any of the guys here forgotten: Prize cards cannot be used in duels.
The worlds match winner cards cannot be used. YCS prize cards can and have, such as Minerva, the exalted lightsworn and Number 106: Giant Hand. It was really frustrating when meta relevant cards were locked behind topping an event and cost over a grand or required knowing a guy to play
That isn’t true. The Worlds Prize cards are the ones that can’t, they’ll even have “This card cannot be used in a duel” printed at the bottom. The Anotherverse guys they’ve been releasing recently are legal.

A better prize card would be a quarter century rare of a highly competitive card that doesn’t have a quarter century rare yet.
