Ghostly flames of rage left smoldering eons past from the strike of a stone of cold fire…
VJMP-JP263 葬角のカルノヴルス Soukaku no Carnovorous (Burial Bicorn Carnovorus/Burial Twin-Horned Carnovorus/etc.)
Level 6 FIRE Dinosaur Synchro Tuner Effect Monster
ATK/2000
DEF/200
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
You can only use the (1)st and (2)nd effects of this card’s name each once per turn.
(1) Once per Chain, during the Main or Battle Phase, you can (Quick Effect): Immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Dinosaur monster using this card you control.
(2) When a monster declares an attack: You can Special Summon 1 Dinosaur monster from your hand, ignoring its Summoning conditions, also you cannot Special Summon for the rest of this turn, except Dinosaur monsters.

What do you mean it doesn’t mill a dino?
what do you mean itdoes not pop the babies
Pretty mediocre all things considered
Very unhelpful card for dinos, even for jurrac itself
what are you talking about? Its second effect basically lets you summon your higher level Dinos without needing to tribute, just by declaring an attack with a Dino (so it works when it itself attacks), then its first effect lets you Synchro during the battle phase.
Have Carnovorus attack, use its effect to summon another dino, then chain with its first effect to then Synchro a stronger monster, that you can then immediately attack with.
That definitely sounds like the Jurrac MO to me
That WAS the Jurrac MO and that sucked. The Jurrac MO nowadays is Meteor Spam, which is much funnier.
Roar of the past ignite those ghostly flames shape them into the form an ancient hunter! Synchro Shokun! Burial Twin-Horned Carnovorus!
if it was lv5 it could almost be a fun thing to go into with a spare lv1 tuner to make idk shenshen on the opponent’s turn but we don’t live in that world so no point thinking about that
Should have required a Dinosaur monster as material.
Well, this isn’t the first time Konami likes to make Extra Deck Monsters as generic as possible.
Interestingly, this Monster can be used in Tenpai.
Tenpai uses Fire Dragon monsters, not dinosaur, a lot of their effects specifically says fire dragon.
Pablod this card can’t summon Tenpai monsters as they are dragon type, this card allows quick synchro and hand special summon for a Dino monster only
What the burial.!!!
Not a single effect has any use! Trash name, trash design, trash effect—everything about this FIRE dinosaur is trash and yet again gets a restriction. Also need 2 cards to summon it, while Snake Eyes is just chilling with 1 card combo and has insane consistency, and not a single restriction there.
I like it. It feels like a solid option for Dinowrestlers, and I was wanting to make some sort of Transcendosaurus deck, but didn’t want it to just be ‘pop Petiteranodon’ like Meteorus wants me to do. And perhaps this could fit in with that.
Usually promos support an archetype or gimmick, maybe future fire dinos that use the battle phase!….or this could be just a horrible attempt at supporting jurrac
The second option
Why does this Dinosaur have a wolf-like appearance (as if it were Beast)?
Its a cross between a Carnotaurus and a Bull visually as a pun as Carnotaurus translates to “Meat Bull”
Why is there a once per chain restriction on an effect that can only be used once per turn?
so you can’t use 2nd copy of this card on the same turn.
This has been fixed.
@kuroisepu that explains the once per turn, but what about the once per chain? what does it add?
it’s a 2k target for meteor that can make Asteros then go into a second meteor if you have a level 4 in hand and your opponent doesn’t read, but that’s about it, unless there’s more dino synchros incoming?
Can’t make Meteor with this. Meteor needs a Jurrac Tuner.
It looks like a dragon, not a dinosaur
It doesn’t, get glasses.
Because we need more ways to quickly summon meteors. And this is probably the worst way to do so
Meteor needs a Jurrac Tuner. You can’t summon Meteor with this.
@MystikX Oh well nvm, I cannot think of a reason to use this. Maybe when there are Generic Dino Synchros worth going into on your opponent’s turn, but until then, I cannot think of a reason this needed to only summon Dino Synchros when we have so many Synchro tuners that have no restriction on what they can summon. And the second effect is irrelevant as well
So I guess this can either
Quick summon meteor or summon something like ultimate conductor tyranno during battle phase( I forgot the flip effect was only during main phase.) is there something useful that it can summoning during battle phase?
I mean it seems to me like this card is designed to make Dino decks otk easier
I Was Currently testing Jurrac because of the new reprint of Meteor and now I see this! i have to tell. it doesn’t look much. i will w8 until is on the platform!
any good dinosaurs with enter the battlefield effect to be bullying the opponent?
The list of Dinos that would trigger on summon are as follows:
Dinowrestler Systegosaur
Doodle Beast – Stego
Double-Headed Dino King Rex
Duoterion
Evolsaur Lios
Pyrorex the Elemental Lord
Rex, Freight Fur Hire
Souleating Oviraptor
Transcendosaurus Meteorus
Unironically, King Rex and Pyrorex could be the best options as a “form” of interruption.
Maybe pankratops too
No wonder Dinosaurs went extinct. They had poor effects and stats like this one.
From the looks of it, if you are having this card attack, you most likely might not be using him for further extensions for end boards, but for using him to OTK your opponent. This card pretty much gives you about three attacks.
Because Dinos have such a huge problem otk-ing?
So tomorrow is nekroz!
