I chalk up the creepiness to the original art style more than anything else. A lot of early OCG/TCG cards have this Jojo inspired look,
This seems like a powerful Legend Spell. I don’t know if Giant Trunade will be used competitively when the usual Legend Spells still exist but it has some uses.
If the opponent has almost or no hand, Trunade bounces all the backrow and they’ll only be able to draw less cards at the start of their turn.
As mentioned elsewhere, Graceful Charity’s Alternate Art is a tribute to Disgraceful Charity, an Anime Trap Card that has similar artwork.
Ironically, Giant Trunade would have been a welcome option before Ryozai was capped. Now, that Legend Spell Card has competition: Power vs Consistency vs Backrow Removal.
Now I wonder if we’ll get the nerfed version of Giant Trunade in the future…
