Just one more Ancient Gear card left, either a Monster or a Spell
Hopefully a monster that recycles the spell and trap
I was really helping that one of the spells would grant Golem multi-attacking.
Rush Duels is very weird with what ideas they wanted to simplify from the original game… Like… Why is archetypes of all things something they desperately wanted to avoid for Rush? It is among the least confusing parts of Yu-Gi-Oh. Another one that bugs me is no Flip monsters, they can be little more complex I guess… but even flip rulings are simple enough to the point they should had been included honestly.
I think that’s the main reason for Rush Duels: to simplify Master Duels, which became too complex and with too many rules to consider since that makes the cards act differently.
Just to say that the appearance of Pot of Duality in Rush Duels generated a small conflict about how the Rulebook works based on HOPT.
Flip and Gemini Monsters are failed mechanics in OCG/TCG (if there was a Flip Deck in Rush Duels, it would have been Dark Matter). However, I can see that, in the future, some Decks receive the Archetype closure to avoid future support problems: Darkness and Praime Decks being the Decks that would like to have Archetype closure/restriction.
Presumably to distinguish itself from just being a carbon copy of the main format. Rush is deliberately designed to be simpler and less combo intensive than the main format. No archetypes, no targeting, no banish, no trigger effects.
Even the Ancient Gear cards in here omit Fusion, searchers, and cards that mention a specific card by name as a requirement (instead mentioning that card directly and it’s optional).
Wild to think we’re already finishing Ancient Gear and we finished Legend weeks ago.
That only leaves Metarion as the only thing yet to be revealed (we know the drill, Konami: Yuo is coming to Duel Links at the end of October and we’ll surely get Imaginary Reactor early)
Imaginary Reactor is confirmed
