Hmmm, no field spell, sad…
i was hoping for a field spell version of the action field “Predaprimal Jungle”, but I’m good for now with these in my garden of malice I call a deck, but I so can’t wait for any more new predaplant cards, especially if they include a new genaric super poly target.
The Fusion Spell has the 69th slot, which looks like the usual spiral for Fusion spells

I didn’t expect a Starving Venom + Clear Wing fusion, despite how much sense that makes. Awesome! Sure, being a Pendulum makes no sense lore-wise, but it’s cool that Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon has a counterpart now. I also choose to see this as an apology for how bad Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon is.
Apex fusion is a ritual searcher now, sending herald to get mitsurugi?
You can already do so with extra foolish burial, although you can not set spells and traps for the turn

Okay, so if I use Apex Fusion and target a dark spellcaster type monster that is between level 1 to 5, and then I special summon El Shaddoll Apkallone, choose to send it to the graveyard, then I will be able add Shaddoll Schism to my hand, then I can just set it and pass, when my opponent’s turn starts, I can just flip it to activate the Trap and I can special summon El Shaddoll Winda, did I get it right?

The card specifically says that you can special summon the monster from the extra deck. You can still special summon monsters from the extra by card effect unless they have restrictions that say otherwise.
Now when summoning from public knowledge locations like the gy, the monster has to have been summoned properly first
GREAT SUPPORT! My only criticism is I was really hoping for the Predaplant Reborn Trap from the anime to be printed, because I always find I wish I had a way to reborn Predaplants on my opponent’s turn to disrupt. And now that Lilyzard is printed, it also makes the option more viable. BUT! The support may not be over. There’s still the anime pack LOCRs
The spider is a one card combo into the new fusion if it’s mapping out in my head right.

S-Summon lillizard and add poly/ substitute
Ultra poly into something probably ambulo
Bring back the materials and make the synchro 4
Revive the lilizard off synchro for draw effect
Ambulo effect tribute lilizard for scorpion / level 3 for extension
Make clear wing with synchro 4 and level 3 and then use the poly/ substitute
But no “level control or Preda-Clear Wing” for the fusion hybrid or synchro summoning…… strange to have a synchro but not related to the rest of the engine

Yuri! You were supposed to fight the bloat (Yugo) not join him! Alas, he did join him and these cards are based off of THAT duel.
Pros:
– No ugly main deck monsters, helped by an anime import. The og trio still has the best art.
– After Odd-Eyes and Dark Rebellion got 2 combinations on top of variants it’s only fair we get other hybrids.
Cons:
– Still can’t use Fusion Deployment or similar cards to grab Flytrap or Moray Nepenthes.
– Still no continuous effect to restore Starving Venom’s burn.

It goes without saying that it was too soon for another wave but then I consider the cover themes of the past 10 sets and remember we live in bloat world.
