Some clarity on the release date, and who to direct inquiries going forward.
Some of our readers might recall Taka Corp announcing busts of Yami Yugi with Slifer the Sky Dragon, the Millennium Puzzle, and Seto Kaiba with Obelisk the Tormentor some years ago. Taka Corp were acquired by Plastoy, but Taka Corp’s license for Yu-Gi-Oh! products remained uncertain for some time.
Plastoy have finally confirmed that the Yami Yugi with Slifer the Sky Dragon bust will be releasing in the fourth quarter of 2024, after previous statements that they would be pushed to 2025. They also confirmed that they will be taking over Taka Corp’s license for Yu-Gi-Oh! products, so their social media should be the one to keep up with over Taka Corp’s going forward. However, there is no news on the release dates for the Millennium Puzzle or Seto Kaiba with Obelisk the Tormentor statues.
