Dark magician is surprisingly really good, Hero is so so, stardust dragon is a bit underwhelming that it can not revive itself back, but instead you can special summon the OG one, but if you use the OG stardust dragon negate effect, you won’t be able to bring it back because it’s not synchro summon, Utopia is better than the OG one for sure. Odd-eyes is a bit risky, if your opponent destroys your pendulum scales, you are effectively giving yourself a skill drain. As for Decode Talker, I’m not too sure about it, maybe a bit better than the OG? I still hate that fact that I have to tribute the monster to do something, also I wonder whether there is a cyberse link monster that can do something in the graveyard?
That Stardust Dragon oversight is soso underwhelming and just a Starlight Road 2.0 sad
Hero is extremely generic, isn’t this the first fusion to requires literally “Any” monster on the field with not a single requirement whatsoever? any deck that has access to fusion now has access to a unconditional non-targeting Super-Poly removal.
Hero is quite good, you set up a superpoly since the deck can search it, and make the new guy using any opponent’s monster at Spell Speed 4. Stardust Dragon is good for setting up against negates before you make Junk Speeder. Realistically you’d probably summon Accel Synchro Stardust off this and Sync climb into something better rather than summon Og stardust. Sadly the Utopia is probably one of the worst ones here because it doesn’t really do anything for the deck that it couldn’t already do before. The protection is irrelevant, and the ATK gain is still less than a single Utopic Future Zexal in most cases. It can steal a card it destroys by battle but that’s not really anything either. Decode Talker can send Enigmaster Packbit to do a Diabellstar and turn an opp’s monster into a Continuous Trap.
You don’t have to go into the OG Stardust. go into Accel Synchro and have THAT go into OG stardust if you want. you can also go into Stardust Warrior for a summon negate.

The new Utopia feels a lot more like it did from the anime, took forever, but that is real nice!
More importantly… We all can now finally easily summon the new Dark Magician to a empty field, and attack directly for game! Haha! Anyways, tis a good card indeed!
I got to double- check if any cards in my Performapal Odd-Eyes Z-ARC deck specifically need the OG Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon because this new version totally blows it out of the water.

A lot of gross things, the power creep, new cards having exclusively overframe art, and normal Hope doing F0ish things. 2 out of the 5 are sort of out-of-place but at the same time they’re not. I’m totally cool with Stardust though I could’ve sworn it’s effect name was already used for a card, guess not.
I hope they make these rare. And also print a regular Version in the same Set. Would be a shame if they print these into oblivion. They should be something special
