What could this possibly mean.
The Japanese text for Gandora-X the Dragon of Demolition in Master Duel has been updated. It now matches its TCG counterpart, only counting the Original ATK of the monsters and dealing damage accordingly. This is primarily relevant because this card was used in a number of FTK/OTK Decks, where you would increase the current ATK of a monster, destroy it with Gandora, and then inflict much higher damage than the original ATK of that monster. More notably, the TCG version of this card always referenced the Original ATK, so this strategy was limited to the OCG only.
Nothing else regarding the availability of the card has changed: It is still Forbidden in Master Duel and the OCG, it cannot be obtained in Master Duel (or even be generated), and no reprints have been announced for the OCG, or the inclusion of the card in some future pack in Master Duel. The OCG database also does not reflect this change yet, so for now, this change only applies in Master Duel…where you can’t play it even in casual Duels.
So…stay tuned for Gandora updates, I guess?

my guess is that the next main pack will focus on gandora support and the ocg will formally announce a gandora x errata and a release from the banlist when they reveal the cards. or they just announce an errata with the next banlist
And there it is, the hint that our boy Gandora is the next cover card. Just hope we get playable support and not the usually unplayable anime nonsense.
Pretty much confirms a Gandora retrain is Legacy of Destruction’s cover card.
Also like that this is the first Yugi ace cover since Series 11 began as the other two were for Atem.
First instance of OCG text updated to match TCG, I think.
Noooo!!!! I want my Destruction Sword’s supports for the next core booster..!!
It always pissed me off how they only errata anime related cards. Imagine if they just added “You can’t special summon from the extra deck except for synchros for the rest of this turn” to Halq, you immediately make Crystron playable again, and that’s just one example.
Agreed. The only reason they don’t do it is money. Their thought is: Why errata non-anime cards when we can make people buy a new watered-down version in a few years?
