[Master Duel] Dice Rally & Tactical Try Decks

    NessBy NessMay 12, 20253 Comments

    My simulator uses dice

    Tactical-Try Deck Campaign:
The previously announced campaign for the Tactical-Try Decks releasing in the OCG later this month is now live:
    -Loaner Deck Trial Campaign
Until June 30th (time zones applying) you can use Loaner Decks with the contents of the Tactical-Try Decks in Ranked Duels. The previous 3 Decks (Decisive Strike Cyber Dragon, Evil★Twin the Kaito Pair and Eldlich the Conqueror) will be available, along with the new Decks: EXOSISTER and RESCUE-ACE
    EXOSISTER

“This “Exosister” Deck is the bane of Graveyard-reliant Decks. The effects of “Exosister Martha” and others let you bring out multiple Level 4 monsters to Xyz Summon Rank 4 “Exosister” Xyz Monsters. With 2 of them, you can Xyz Summon “Exosisters Magnifica” and perform an exorcism through consecutive attacks.”

    RESCUE-ACE

“This “Rescue-ACE” Deck poses a major threat with its Spell and Trap Cards. With just a single activation of the effect of “Rescue-ACE Turbulence”, you get to Set up to 4 “Rescue-ACE” Quick-Play Spell Cards / Normal Trap Cards. They’re even more deadly if “Rescue-ACE Hydrant” is in your Monster Zone. Build up a solid formation of “Rescue-ACE” monsters and Spell/Trap Cards to advert disaster”

As a note, the Rescue-Ace Deck features a copy of Pot of Prosperity despite it being Forbidden in the current format in Master Duel. Similarly, the Eldlich Deck has a copy of Pot of Prosperity and 2 copies of Pot of Extravagance. Both Decks are legal, regardless of that.

    -Secret Packs
The Secret Packs related to these Tactical-Try Decks will be unlocked until June 30th (time zones applying). The packs are:
    –Sisters of the Light
    –Rescue Team, Emergency Dispatch!
    –Pearlescent Cyber Dragons
    –Electron Illusions
    –Immortal Royalty

You can also get a free pack from the Exosister and Rescue-ACE packs.

    -Solo Mode Gates
Two new Solo Mode Gates have been added: EXOSISTER and RESCUE-ACE. By completing these, you can obtain 2 Legacy Pack Tickets and 1 Icon from each.

    Icon: Exosister Elis

“An Icon depicting a leader whose team wields miraculous powers of exorcism. She had sworn a vow with her older partner, whose whereabouts are now unknown following a battle.”

    Icon: Rescue-ACE Impulse

“An Icon depicting a standard model of the Emergency Disaster Response Agency’s special unit. This is a super-elite operative who has endured grueling training and passed rigorous examinations.”

New Event: Dice Rally – Fusion & Xyz & Link
This event will run from May 14th to May 26th (time zones applying). This event has the following rules:
-By completing a Duel, you obtain points.
-For every 500 points you earn, you get dice.
-By rolling these dice, you move through a game board.
-You can obtain the event rewards by collecting dice and by completing a round of the game board.

Bonus points can be obtained from each Duel in order to obtain more dice. There is a daily bonus, which grants 500 points and resets every day. There are also other bonuses that depend on meeting certain conditions during the Duel. At least for now, these conditions are:
-Normal or Special Summon a monster whose original Level/Rank is 7 or higher (+150 points)
-Normal or Special Summon a WATER monster (+150 points)
-Activate a Field Spell Card (+150 points)

The game board contains 4 different types of spaces:
-Green spaces make you advance a number of spaces
-Orange spaces increase the rarity of card spaces
-Blue spaces are modifiers for the Duel (both players start with half their LP, or an extra card in their hand, etc.)
-Card spaces grant you a card of the listed rarity. If it’s a monster, it appears on your field, and if it’s a Spell/Trap Card, it’s added to your hand.
    The following cards are available:
    UR (20/200):

    SR (40/200):

    R (60/200):

    N (80/200):

As for the rewards, you can obtain:
-1800 gems by collecting dice (you get either 50 or 100 gems each time you get 1 die, up to 50 dice)
-The following rewards by completing a round:
    –Round 1: 100 gems
    –Round 2: 100 gems
–Round 3: 1 Back to Square One Field Parts
    –Round 4: 100 gems
–Round 5: 10 Legacy Pack Tickets
–Round 6: 10 Legacy Pack Tickets
–Round 7: 10 Legacy Pack Tickets
–Round 8: 1 All or Nothing Title

“Field Parts modeled on a game where you roll dice to move. Even when you’re cruising, a storm can come out of nowhere.”

“A Title given to Duelists who achieved results in the “Dice Rally – Fusion & Xyz & Link” event. A brilliant future awaits those courageous enough to trust themselves.”

The following Loaner Decks will be available for the event:
☆1 Greatest of the Olden Gods

    “Difficulty Level ☆1
This “The Winged Dragon of Ra” Deck wields legendary power through LP sacrifices. Although “The Winged Dragon of Ra” requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon, “Egyptian God Slime” can ocunt as all 3. Additionally, the effect of “Millennium Revelation” enables it to be Special Summoned from the Graveyard. Once this Egyptian God is on your field, make it nigh-on unstoppable with “Blaze Cannon” and “Sun God Unification before scorching your opponent!”

    ☆2 King’s Hospitality

    “Difficulty Level ☆2
This “Generaider” Deck wields the crushing force of Level/Rank 9 “Boss” monsters. “Generaider Boss Stage” is central, as it lets you Special Summon when your opponent adds a card from the Deck to their hand. To activate it as soon as possible, use the effect of a card like “Mardel, Generaider Boss of Light”, and then fend off your opponent during their turn with the effects of various “Generaider” monsters. The Xyz Monster “Laevatein, Generaider Boss of shadows” is dependable, as it can get rid of cards on the field and Graveyard while simultaneously bringing out another Xyz Monster.”

    ☆3 Ocean Lord’s Awakening

    “Difficulty Level ☆3
This “Atlantean” Deck is powered-up with a new ace monster. The monster to Summon first is “Neptabyss, the Atlantean Prince”, as it adds 1 “Atlantean” card from your Deck to your hand by sending an “Atlantean” monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. Treated as an “Atlantean” card, “Mermail Shadow Squad” is the perfect candidate when you need to send a card to the Graveyard to activate a WATER monster’s effect, as this allows it to activate its own effect. Other “Atlantean” monsters with similar effects make it possible to strengthen your field efficiently. Once ready, go for an all-out assault with formidable Xyz Monsters like “Mermail Abyssgaios” and “Poseidra Abyss, the Atlantean Dragon Lord”!”

Never really liked Events that much, but now? Now I genuinely can’t wait to play this!

I can basically play my Runick Generaider deck at full power this event! I’m shocked it wasn’t nerfed into nothingness!

Laevatein and Enterblathnir are coming for you!

    3. Emanuel on May 13, 2025 5:31 pm

There is a part of the text that talks about rewards per round which is incorrect. Several items are repeatedly listed as rewards for round 1.
