    Legendary Modern Decks 2026 [TCG]

    NeoArkadiaBy NeoArkadiaNovember 7, 202530 Comments

    Pick your choice of sword.

(What, you thought only the Decks on TV get Legendary Decks?)

    Sky Strikers! X-Sabers! Mitsurugi!

Dive in and experience three Legendary Decks at once with Legendary Modern Decks 2026, as we combine three Decks of the modern age into one awesome package (with brand-new cards!)

“Sky Strikers” first blasted off in Dark Saviors back in 2018 and were an instant hit, with their ace pilots soaring into action in their sleek combat mech suits. “Sky Strikers” recently performed on the biggest stage of them all when we saw them make it all the way to the Top 4 of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2025! On top of all the old “Sky Striker” favorites, all in one package, you’ll have everything you need for a top “Sky Striker” Deck when you add the NEW Sky Striker Ace – Camellia, Prototype Sky Striker Ace – Amatsu, Surgical Striker – S.P.E.C.T.R.A., and Combined Maneuver – Engage Zero!

(And if you haven’t seen it yet, don’t forget to check out the Yu-Gi-Oh! CARD GAME THE CHRONICLES “Promotional Short Anime Series” to learn the story behind the cards!)

Ready the troops! Gottoms is back, and his army awaits him! “X-Sabers” made their first worldwide appearance in 2009’s Hidden Arsenal, with their tactics of swarming and Synchro Summoning. Now, over 15 years later, their legend is renewed with brand-new “X-Saber” cards, plus everyone’s favorite veterans, including new foil upgrades!

How long does it take to become Legendary? If you’ve Dueled competitively in 2025, you’ll know that there’s nothing quite like the powerful Ritual-based strategy, “Mitsurugi”, and it’s less than a year old, debuting in January’s Supreme Darkness! With the Legendary Modern Decks 2026 set, you can get everything you need for this tournament-winning strategy, all in one place! “Mitsurugi” works great on its own, or you can combine this Deck with other themes like “Fiendsmith”, “Ryzeal”, “Orcust”, and more (recently reprinted in Battles of Legend: Monster Mayhem and the 2025 Mega-Packs)!

Legendary Modern Decks 2026 contains THREE complete, ready-to-play Decks, each with 55 cards (1 Secret Rare, 6 Ultra Rares, 48 Commons) plus a bonus 56th card, another copy of 1 of 6 cards from that Deck, with a bonus chance to upgrade to Starlight Rare instead!  Each Deck is built to be tournament-ready with a full Main Deck and Extra Deck. Including brand-new cards!

Just like with Legendary 5D’s Decks, these Decks are ready-to-go, with the doubles and triples of critical cards you’ll need to make your Deck run nice and smooth. Also, like the Legendary 5D’s Decks, they’re stocked with multiples of “staple” cards that go great in ANY Deck. A great starting place for new, returning, and experienced Duelists.

Legendary Modern Decks 2026 contains 168 cards:

    3 Secret Rares

    18 Ultra Rares

    144 Common

3 bonus Secret Rares, with a chance to upgrade to Starlight Rare instead!

Best product of 2026. They’ll have to actively try to screw this up.

It is only a good product if you happen to like the 3 decks, if you only want one of the archetype it is a horrible product that makes you pay 90 dols for playsets and in that point you just buy singles without touching the product.
Legendary decks are horrible for most players

You shouldn’t need to buy three of this to get full deck cores, if it’s similar to L5DD as they say. Depends on how stingy they are with the extra decks

You will need to buy some actual nonengine though, since even with L5DD they are still giving these random 1- and 2-ofs of hand traps

      • Warmth Hero Bundleman Neo on November 7, 2025 8:15 pm

If you don’t care about a couple of specific archetypes then this massive set has nothing to offer has been the modus operandi since STOR.

      • Kuroisenpu on November 8, 2025 8:49 am

I agree, it’s one of the worst sets, why do Konami even try to do another 3 decks set? Horrible idea, X-saber is supposed to be in terminal world set just like past terminal world, why put 3 random sets together?

what are you talking about, ss has been meta playable since the newest support. its not t1 meta but its a t2 deck that you can def do well with. It was even at worlds.

      • Octavius Rex on November 7, 2025 2:23 pm

1: Sky Striker is like rogue at best. It’s Top 4 placing at Worlds was specifically due to a strong meta call from a top player (People hadn’t really figured out the matchup against Sky Striker when piloting Yummy at the time so Roselle got a fair amount of free wins off of this (She even says this in her Top 4 interview), and Yummy was the most represented deck at Worlds). It’s not a deck that is consistently topping right now even with the new support.

2: Old decks can still top, and I don’t consider a deck “modern” just cause it recently got new support. This one might just be a me thing though.

OP clearly referring to X-Sabers and mfs screeching about Sky Strikers.

        Never beating the illiteracy allegations.

Modern just means having a massive wall of text.

I own none of these decks, so this is a easy buy from me! I even purposely held off from getting Sky Striker cards this year because it seemed pretty obvious they would release a deck for it at some point later because of the early Chronicles Animations.

Side note: Gotta say… they should had included something else besides X-Sabers tho… I couldn’t care else about that theme, and I really don’t think it will be a good modern deck even with it’s new cards.

      • Ug on November 12, 2025 12:30 pm

Yes, and it’ll prob have some decent staples too. Some ygo players love to complain when they don’t get exactly what they want

    6. Ulysses on November 7, 2025 3:03 pm

A Snake-Eyes or White Forest deck would of been nice.

If the theme is sword bearer’s, i wonder if swordsoul or noble knight will get a chance to shine if they ever do a part 2

@Dudegrey No, I just didn’t feel like reading it. Could’ve chosen not to be an a-hole, but I guess you need something to feel better about your sad miserable existence

My friend. You clicked on this article, scrolled past the entire text while choosing to read none of it, and posted a comment asking someone to spoonfeed you information contained in the article you just scrolled past. Dudegrey simply has a vision of a better future for us all, including you. But you’ll have to meet us halfway

my brother. It is not that hard to read an article. It’s literally in a picture too lmao. How brainrotted do you have to be. This was a 30 second read. Lock tf in bro

Thank you for not making one of them Noble Knights, I know that took restraint.

So are they going to give Mitsurugi some extra cards to tie in with this since the other two decks will have first-time imports?

And can we get a deck box based around bullets/guns that includes Volcanic and Magical Musket?

Is that going to be her Chibi alt art? Because if so, much better looking than other chibi alt arts so far

Nice More X-Sabers, i hope they give the Sabers more starters and a gameplan that isn’t trying to empty the opponent hand with Gottoms and if you can’t pray to the gods
