Special Edition “Gogogo” & “Dododo” Deck Recipes (From KONAMI Staff)
In today’s special feature, we’ll be covering Deck Recipes that use “Gogogo” and “Dododo” cards, that were made by KONAMI’s in-house Staff!
[Recipe 1] Gogogo And Zombie
[Recipe 2] Gogogo Koa’ki Meiru
[Recipe 3] Dododo & Gagaga Attack
Concerning the “Gogogo” Decks, while testing and adjusting Decks to see which were strong, these recipes are the ones we found to be unexpectedly worth using in more competitive game play!
Based on testing at KONAMI, we found they could beat “Mermail” Decks 60% of the time. Is that enough for you to considering using these Decks in Match play!?
As for the Dododo Deck, it mixes in Gagaga Cards, resulting in a Deck sorta like one that the hero of the Anime “Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL”, Yuma, would use! As to how strong it is… It’s fun to use! Please, by all means, feel free to build it and try it out.
[Recipe 1] Gogogo And Zombie

Beginner’s Strategy Cheat Sheet
<The Basic Tactics For Getting A Level 8 Synchro>
Normal Summon the Tuner “Masked Chameleon“, using its effect to Special Summon “Gogogo Giant” from the Graveyard!
<The Basic Tactics For Getting A Rank 4 Xyz>
● Normal Summon “Gogogo Giant“, using its effect to Special Summon a “Gogogo” monster from your Graveyard.
● Normal Summon “Summoner Monk“, using its effect to Special Summon a Level 4 Monster from the Deck.
Since all “Gogogo” Monsters are Level 4 Monsters, if you use a combo to assemble them all together, you can easily Xyz Summon using 3 Level 4 monsters!
<Recommended Cards>
“Book of Life”
A Normal Spell Card that allows you to simultaneously Special Summon a Zombie-Type Monster in the Graveyard and banish a Monster from the opponent’s Graveyard. Because “Gogogo Ghost” is a Zombie-Type Monster, it’s very compatible with Zombie-Type Support Cards. If you have both “Gogogo Ghost” and “Gogogo Golem” in the Graveyard, you can combine the power of “Book of Life” with the effect of “Gogogo Ghost” to practically summon a Rank 4 Xyz Monster with just 1 card.
“King of the Feral Imps”
While this Deck Recipe focuses on bringing out “Gogogo” and Zombie-Type Monsters, it also includes Reptile-Type Monsters “Kagetokage” and “Masked Chameleon” to aid with Synchro and Xyz Summons. Since this card is an easy to summon Xyz for just 2 Level 4 Monsters, if you remove an Xyz Material to activate its effect, you can call a new “Kagetokage” or “Masked Chameleon” to your hand, to try and assemble even more monsters to the field during your next turn!
[Recipe 2] Gogogo Koa’ki Meiru
This is a Deck that combines “Gogogo” and “Koa’ki Meiru” cards for the purpose of controlling your opponent’s card effects. Once you figure out your opponent’s strategies, you’ll be able to effectively use your monsters to counter those strategies and seize victory!
Deck Recipe
1 Gogogo Golem – Golden Form (DP14)
2 Gogogo Golem (DP14)
3 Gogogo Giant (DP14)

3 Koa’ki Meiru Sandman (DE04)
2 Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo (VB10)
3 Block Golem (REDU)
2 Neo-Spacian Grand Mole (DE01)
2 Card Trooper (SD17)
1 Monster Reborn (GDB1)
1 Dark Hole (GDB1)
1 Heavy Storm (GDB1)

Beginner’s Strategy Cheat Sheet
<You’ll Use These Rock-Type Monsters To Seal Your Opponent’s Card Effects!>
● “Koa’ki Meiru Guardian” and “Gogogo Golem – Golden Form” … Is Used To Lock Monster Card Effects
● “Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo” … Is Used To Lock Special Summons
● “Koa’ki Meiru Wall” … Is Used To Lock Spell Cards
● “Koa’ki Meiru Sandman” … Is Used To Lock Trap Cards
<The Deck’s Key Feature Is Fighting By Reading Your Opponent’s Strategies>
This Deck, rather than rushing through Special Summons and going on the Attack, is more focused on reading your opponent’s field and Deck, focusing on tactics that require you to attack slowly and carefully. If you can figure out what cards to use at what time, this Deck becomes even more powerful!
<Recommended Cards>
“Block Golem”
If the only monsters in your Graveyard are EARTH Attribute, you can activate this card’s effect to Special Summon 2 Level 4 or lower Rock-Type Monsters from your Graveyard! However, the Special Summoned monsters cannot activate their effects this turn, so either aim for a Rank 4 Xyz Summon, OR, because you can activate their effects during the next turn, you could choose to go with a strategy of *not* Xyz Summoning.
But be aware, if you Special Summon “Koa’ki Meiru” Monsters, you’ll still need to show Rock-Type Monsters in your hand to avoid your monsters being destroyed.
“Gozen Match”
When you activate “Gozen Match“, both players have to pick 1 Attribute of monsters on their field to keep, but since this Recipe makes sure to use the effect of “Block Golem“, it’s constructed that all your monsters, even the ones in your Extra Deck, are EARTH Attribute. You’ll be able to hinder your opponent’s plays, while doing nothing to you!
[Recipe 3] Dododo & Gagaga Attack
This Deck mixes “Dododo” and “Gagaga” cards together in order to Xyz Summon Rank 4 and 8 Monsters! By taking the chance to make “Gagaga Magician” Level 8 and using effects and combos to Special Summon Level 8 Monsters, you can Xyz Summon powerful Rank 8 “Felgrand the Divine Dragon Knight“!
Deck Recipe
3 Dododo Gasser (DP14)
3 Dododo Witch (DP14)
3 Swordsman of Revealing Light (DP14)
3 Gagaga Gardna (ST13)
3 Gagaga Magician (ST13)

Beginner’s Strategy Cheat Sheet
<The Basic Tactics For Getting A Rank 8 Xyz>
Special Summon the Level 8 “Swordsman of Revealing Light” during your opponent’s turn! During your next turn, you can Normal Summon “Gagaga Magician“, and then use its effect to make it Level 8 to easily Xyz Summon a Rank 8 Monster!
<The Basic Tactics For Getting A Rank 4 Xyz>
● Normal Summon “Goblindbergh“, and use its effect to Special Summon a Level 4 Monster
● Special Summon “Photon Thrasher“, then Normal Summon a Level 4 Monster.
Both are combos commonly used in the “Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL” anime to Xyz Summon a Rank 4 Xyz Monster!
<Recommended Cards>
“Magnum Shield”
It’s very effective when you equip it to Warrior-Type monsters that have both high Attack and Defense! (There’s a lot of Warrior-Type Monsters in this Recipe, including the Xyz Monsters).
This card can make monsters Attack sky rocket. A Flip Summoned “Dododo Gasser” that’s gained 3500 Attack, will have 6500 Attack. “Number 39: Utopia” will have 4500 Attack, And a simply Normal Summoned “Dododo Witch” gains 2800 Attack! If you have a clear chance to deal a huge amount of damage to your opponent, take it and equip this card.
“Trade-In”
It’s a little difficult to Normal Summon Level 8 Monsters. But, if you use this card, when you can’t Normal Summon a Level 8 monster, you can potentially turn the tide by drawing some cards. And since all the Level 8 monsters in this Deck are Warrior-Type, even if you send them to the Graveyard, you won’t waste them because you can return them to your hand with “The Warrior Returning Alive“!
