天堂始終の面妖姫 Tendou Shijuu no Menyouki (Spectress of Heaven’s Eternity)
Note: Her Name is mouthful wise something like Masked Mysterious Spectre Princess of Heavenly Beginning and End) but that is way too much of a mouthful, and we’re trying to emulate “Specter of Heaven’s End”‘s name in Duel Links.
“Excutie Lumiere Frontiere” is an Ultra Rare/Secret Rare/Over-Rush Rare Fusion Monster who uses “Excutie Lumiere” and “Excutie Lilius” as materials!
“Spectress of Heaven’s Eternity” is a Super Rare/Secret Rare Fusion Monster that uses “Specter of Heaven’s Beginning” and “Specter of Heaven’s End” as Fusion Materials!
Both monsters can use the new Contact Fusion mechanic, allowing you to Fusion Summon simply by collecting the materials on your side of the field!

Well now we know how they plan to get around the Air Neos debacle. Just make brand new contact fusions.

Shining Flare Wingman will now be the second Fusion Monster in Rush Duels to specifically require another Fusion as one of its Fusion Materials (first being Sevens Road Ultima Witch), IIRC.
Curious on how Aqua Dolphin will be worded to fit Rush Duels to simplify it for Rush Duels.
And unlike Ultima Witch, which is only directly supported by Straynge Cat Witch, Shining Flare Wingman works with Hero Boy, Star Restart, and Parallel Birth Gate while benefitting from a format that loves milling.
If we also don’t get Shining Burst Wingman alongside him we riot.
Interesting they went with new fusions for Neos instead of recycling the the ones from Master. I’m also looking forward to more Excutie support.
Ok, I kind of expected the arrival of Neo-Spacian to Rush Duels, but I didn’t expect that to come with new Neos Contact Fusions.
However, what wasn’t on my Bingo card was that Excutie and two Zombie Monsters who were close relatives had access to Contact Fusion. Excutie seemed like that type of Deck that wouldn’t have any tricks besides being Level 6 that can Special Summon easily.
And well, more original Archetypes for Rush Duels is more than welcome for me. Berry Fresh seems to be that Aqua Deck that Monster Type needs to feel fresh.

Ironically, if anyone from the Main Cast gets Contact Fusion, it would be Yuamu and Zwijo (both Characters don’t have any special tricks compared to Yudias, Yuhi and Manabu)
Yudias has the Normal Monsters trick, in addition to Fusion and Maximum. Yuhi has his Deck mixed with EARTH Machine and LIGHT Dragon and Manabu has his Pyro Deck with Fusion and Maximum.
Lumiere and Lilius are connected via lore so I am fine with them getting a Contact Fusion.

Officially no reason why konami Can’t retrain Neos fusions and the Neo Spacians for the regular card game.
Officially, nothing has ever stopped Konami from doing annoying, they just decide that they don’t want to do it. But that doesn’t mean that it’s forever. The GX 20th anniversary is this year iirc meaning there will probably be more GX legacy support for the OG game. Might put it off till next year since this year is seemingly still all bout the 25th anniversary of DM
I hope Konami does the right thing and removes the mandatory End Phase effect for these new Neos Contact Fusions. It was an awful effect then and it is far worse now, especially with Emperor Dragon not having it at all.
First Love Angel and now Berry Fresh Happiness. Konami seems to like making loli themes based on a single card a thing. I’m relieved all of these have 100 ATK as Happiness now power creeps Moisturize as backrow removal for Aquas. As the Love monsters all shared a common theme based on the original AngelI would imagine Berry Fresh centers on generating and maintaining hand advantage and using Aquas with 100 ATK in hand for cost.
Surprisingly no anime arts, not even for the remaining Dark Matters. Likely will be kept a secret as the other Darkmen and Zuwijo integrate Contact Fusion into their Decks at some point.
I feel like, if there was a Character that shows Contact Fusion now in the Anime, it would be Zuwijo.
In the case of the Darkmen, if we take Sabyuas as an example, Bruyea and Zeyet should have another Fusion Monster that works with Fusion first: most likely tied to Dark Matter Octopus and Dark Matter Freya respectively.
Speaking of, I am glad Contact Fusions are retroactively given to specific Decks so they can catch up with the speed of the game now.
Moreover the materials can easily combo into each other to facilitate Contact Fusions.
Lumiere and Lilius can easily summon themselves from the hand. Specter of Heaven’s Beginning can revive End. And Contact Wyvern can revive Dragon.
The Neo-Spacians don’t have this immediate synergy with Neos, but Neos still benefits immensely from the existing vanilla and Warrior support in the Structure Deck so it’s a nice balance.
Yeah, I never got why a majority of Neos Fusions were essentially just one turn like that and thus forced to rely on (Instant) Neo Space. If something is only going to last for one turn like that, it needs to be pretty big in one or more ways.
Makes me wish the NEXians were easier to use and finished their lineup given, if Marine Neos was any indication, they all would have remained on the field and have slightly better effects than the basic Neos Fusions.

I didn’t initially like Neos’ new fusions, I think because I was in the perspective of my old heroes. but I found the design of these very generic and without the charisma of the old ones

These berry fresh cards could be a good addition to the official card game. Too bad, the official game is becoming dead now, so they are trying to use RD as a plan B.

Magician Girl, Fortune Fairy, Lyrilusc, Solfachord, most of Trickstar, a large chunk of Mariness, most of the lower leveled Melodious, Fairy Tail, Charmers, Traptrix, a chunk of Aroma, most of Rikka.
Not to mention many individual cards like Ebon/Pikeru, Thunder Nyan Nyan, Romarin, Aeropixthree, Freya Spirit of Victory, and that’s just from the top of my head.
‘Cute girl cards’ in Yu-Gi-Oh! isn’t exactly new nor is it exclusive to Rush. This kinda feels like grasping at straws to fuel the “me no like different thing” argument people have against Rush.
Actually I am opposite, it is too similar in character design to Master Duels that makes me dislike Rush Duels. Typical animey design tropes with little use of outside mythos to make something fresh and interesting.

The old ones like Aqua Neos and Flame Neos had the fusions resemble the Neospacians more but with Pulse Neos and Heat Neos, they resemble Neos more.
