VJump promos tend to be really busted or really trash. Been getting only the trash recently and this is definitely not changing that.
Burgundy at least has some fun, casual game play potential. Like mixing it with Magic Thorn(s) for a little extra damage.
Dragonlet though, is just so surprisingly basic for a VJMP card. When you consider how some previous early manga cards were overhauled before, like E. Hero Airman (halve its ATK to direct attack that turn) and Ocean (direct attack if “Umi” is out) and such, yeah…I see what you mean.
Subscription promos are intentionally underpowered to avoid 10,000+ Yen Scalper Hell
Weren’t this supposed to be retrain of famous cards? Or am I missing something?
They are different things: these belong to seasonal 3-card packs sent to people subsribed to Vjump magazines, while the 25th anniversary promos are released with each monthly magazine itself.
