Almost look like an Archfiend being turned into a Plant Creature.
Predaplants do have a similar playstyle to Aliens. Now I’m hoping Aliens get a new Fusion in the future.
So can you tribute your opponent’s monsters? It’s always unclear which cards do include both fields and which cards don’t
You can Tribute an opponent’s monster with the Predator Counter. The Predaplant must be on your field.
Dheadevil is yet another Kaiju for the Deck, but can also be Fusion Summoned normally. The targeted removal is nice too.
BRD Assault Mode reduces ATK without targeting while reshuffling herself and has a flexible built in field destruction effect that floats into the original.

@D1 if it doesn’t say it targets, it doesn’t target. Instead of deciding what monster loses atk as part of the activation when you reveal the card, you pick what monster loses atk at resolution.

Predap fusion can become a breaker thanks to its ability to contact fuse or it can also be distruption thanks to the synchro 4. Predapeak is coming folks
Black Rose Dragon //Assault Mode’s effects shares some similarities with both of its synchro counterparts.
First effect for anime OG form, it changes a monster’s attack points to zero.
Second effect for 5Ds Manga Moonlight dragon form and first part, if this card special summoned or if your opponent ss a monster. But then the second part where it destroy all cards on the field came from the anime OG form.
Very interesting things I noticed when I found out about this new card.
it’s cool assault blackrose won’t miss timing but the board wipe still being dual sided is kind of “why bother?”
The desensitization is real. Asymmetrical board wipes should be eventful and require serious effort to pull off.
The rose dragon is kinda cool it make assault mode activate into a board wipe I’ll see how it can work in a mitsurugi build with that trap that you can tribute all three to banish 8 from their extra deck so it can dodge the destruction effect.
Predaplant Wousu and… Yes.
I’m sorry, what, I can’t tell what Predaplant Dheadevil is ment to be, and yes Predaplant’s did need a way to deal with back row.
But Konami this won’t help unless you make the action field “Predaprimal Jungle” a official field spell for the archetype and give it “Starving venom wing dragon’s” pendulum effect.
Plus theirs still dozens of fusion monsters you could design, like a Yamata No Orochi + European Birthwort, a typhon +Typhonium, or really anything dragonic for like follow up support.
I think it might be a gardening reference to dead heading. You snip off old flowers to encourage the plant to spend the energy on new growth.

Arbitrary non-targeting strikes again, this time to facilitate another main deck mechanic that is more extra deckish flavor-wise. Not going to rehash my predator plants spiel again but no fusion deployment for flytrap & nepenthes, no burn, I sleep. Mentioning a lv. 1 monster is cute albeit redundant. AFD Buster Mode is even more needed to have the option to use the mode main deck stuff as filler until Ruka gets more cards.

Predaplants didn’t have a single fusion in the anime. Now they have 5. Meanwhile PK still only has the 2 Xyz from before the anime ended.
*Speedroids also have 8 Synchros currently.
That rose dragon is so pointless to make. Just make the OG if you’re going through the whole annoying ass combo that the new assault mode cards make you do. Or if you want to summon black rose on your opponents turn just play the new rose dragon cards?? This should’ve been way better, make it a one sided board wipe and a searcher like the Crimson Blader Assault mode.
