It is baffling that it took this long for Konami to print a second Blue-Eyes Fusion, despite a Structure Deck, High Grade Collection, and even the gum pack from last year.
I love how despite being indirect Blue-Eyes support, the Trap specifies Level 7 or higher to tie with High Tech Dragon/Hybridrive and Gravebronze Dragon. (Blue-Eyes currently does not have Level 7 support).
Ironic in a set meant to support Five-Headed Dragon that LIGHT Dragons ended up getting the most consistency.

      • RedTheWeeb on April 14, 2024 10:49 pm

Pretty sure meant to support both blue-eyes and red-eyes in spirit kinda like the kaiba vs yugi duel flute nonsense

      • N on April 14, 2024 10:56 pm

Domination supports a wide range of high Leveled Dragon Decks which got support recently. I guess Red-Eyes technically counts as their Fusions got reprinted in Over Rush Pack 2 a week ago.

      • Doodydood on April 16, 2024 3:18 pm

Not for the tcg or ocg it’s for rush duels which I wish came over seas because it seems kinda cool it plays like duelist kingdom

    2. Bruno Santo on April 14, 2024 11:36 pm

      Draconic Domination be like:

Blue-Eyes: Great! A new Trap Card for my Deck!

(The) Dragias: OUR NEW TRAP CARD!

Joking aside, I like that (so far) the semi-generic Fusion Monsters in Rush Duels are Fusion Monsters with simple Effects and nothing complicated or that are going to change the course of the Duel (such as being weak versions)

    3. Nunu on April 14, 2024 11:51 pm

      OMG rush duel I can’t 🤮
Thought myself it was the official one for a sec

      • Justin Jones on April 15, 2024 12:21 am

IKR. Rush duels to me will always be a poor man’s Yu-Gi-Oh. And the fact that the game hasn’t been imported into the TCG already proves that the TCG has no fate in the game. Speed Duels are so much funnier.

      • Pea Man on April 15, 2024 12:22 am

        Cope lol

      • Justin Jones on April 15, 2024 12:23 am

        You’re the coping nerd lol.
        Speed Duel > Rush Duel

      • guu on April 15, 2024 8:22 am

keep crying rush exist for a reason because the main game failed to bring in new players

    4. Guest on April 15, 2024 1:06 am

I’m so sick of the Rush hate, Speed Duel is a failed product. No one buys it, which is why stores are refusing to carry it. Rush Duels on the other hand have been extremely successful.

      • 0_CoCoA on April 15, 2024 11:30 am

I can’t find it in the ICv2’s Top Collectible Games – Spring 2023, yu-gi-oh was already popular, why One Piece Card Game is not Nr4 after the YUGIOH TCG, that’s should have been rush duel if it was a good game, bruh it’s trash, I’ll play vanguard instead.

      • Slifer on April 16, 2024 5:52 am

I buy speed duel stuff sometimes for reprints, lol. Like the gx evil hero/vampire stuff

    5. Articz on April 15, 2024 2:07 am

This card doesn’t even look like a blue-eyes to me. Why wouldn’t they make it as a free agent instead. Well that was rush duel for you!

      • N on April 15, 2024 1:41 pm

This is an upgrade to Blue-Eyes Bright Dragon, one of the few Rush Duel exclusive monsters that can treat itself as BEWD in hand and has an effect that also lets it be treated as such on the field.
Engine of Destruction specifically requires BEWD to be on your field and has an effect to recover any Level 8 LIGHT Dragon, having an additional recover of one of their Spells as well if you recover Bright Dragon.

I don’t know much (almost nothing) about Rush Duel, BUT:
      A. That is not a Blue-Eyes card.
      B. I don’t even understand what it is supposed to do, its effect looks like peak 2006.
      C. Blue-Eyes…TCG…With Eyes of Blue…more Blue-Eyes Synchros…when!?

      • Asplaimko on April 15, 2024 6:27 am

Lmao Blue-Eyes player calling things peak 2006 – You’d think that’d be a bold step into the future for them

      • Ayane Ryuuza on April 15, 2024 7:14 am

Can we please just stop putting support for real TCG/OCG archetypes only in side game products? It’s beyond frustrating to see support for actually playable legacy decks, being printed for not the actual game they are in…

      • guu on April 15, 2024 8:22 am

        keep crying

      • N on April 15, 2024 1:38 pm

Yes, it is. This is a visual evolution to Blue-Eyes Bright Dragon, released last year.
This is part of a simple combo line. Summon Blue-Eyes->Engine of Destruction->Add back Bright Dragon and The Ultimate Blue-Eyed Legend->Activate The Ultimate Blue-Eyed Legend to summon this.
The effect itself is decent for Rush format. Most effects in this format affect face up Level 8 or below, so to have an effect that destroys any monster on your opponent’s field (even Maximums) is really good. Most Fusions also peak around 3400 ATK so this monster can beat over or tie with the Fusions in the game, especially with Sanctum out that lets it tie with Maximums.
Also most Fusions in 2006 wish they were this good.
Rush players seem to think this Fusion is a step in the right direction for the deck, as Blue-Eyes lacked in archetypal removal as it is mostly a Battle Phase oriented archetype that struggles with the battle phase traps.
This has no bearing on whether Blue-Eyes gets support in the TCG. Rush is using legacy archetypes to get older players back into the game, without the skill ceiling needed to get back into Master format.

Does anyone else think that the over rush rare cards are really overdesigned?

        No

    9. Reality on April 15, 2024 10:10 am

Literally lost all the energy in my body when I saw this was for rush duels 😞
Not a rush duels hater at all btw but blue eyes is on its last legs in the ocg/tcg, its been unplayable for years atp.

LOL, this is: Random Mechanics Dragon B2F

    11. eerie on April 15, 2024 12:37 pm

finally ive been waiting a red-eyes reference in something related to the flute for years

    12. Naransolongo_BB on April 15, 2024 2:38 pm

Yugioh players continuing to prove they can’t read right here in these comments.
I do like this new monster as a stopgap between regular Blue-eyes and Ultimate (kinda like Tyrant in the OCG/TCG) along with being able to pop a monster. I never felt Blue-eyes needed more than those two things.
The trap card just seems like a good generic option in dragon decks with a few use cases. Not much else to say about it

    13. KINGOFHEROS92 on April 15, 2024 3:18 pm

LOL! I know that “peak 2006” quip would get people going!

@N: “Calling a being the Christ doesn’t make it so” – Rudolf Steiner.
The same applies to Blue-Eyes, that is a LIGHT Gizmek if I ever saw one.

      • KINGOFHEROS92 on April 15, 2024 3:19 pm

        Edit: “knew”

    14. John A on April 15, 2024 8:15 pm

I’m still waiting for a level 10 Blue-Eyes synchro monster.

    15. Mageside on April 15, 2024 10:16 pm

Hate Konami making fusions with the same stats as the monster its based on…
