Strategic Summary:
The Paleozoic theme is unique in many ways, the first of which is their existence as Trap cards that return to the field from the GY as monsters! This grind-heavy deck features more Normal Traps than any other CDP or CDS that I’ve ever presented in a sample deckbuild, and it certainly helps you to control the duel from Turn 1 through the end. In many ways, the Paleozoic theme is great when paired with a powerful alternative engine and win condition, as they can be used to provide serious backrow disruption support to any other theme. As a result, this build in particular showcases the synergy that a full backrow can have with the powerful new Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon coming to the TCG later this month!
