You know, for how important Monster Reborn is to the Rush anime lore I’m surprised they haven’t given it proper support cards in the game yet. Maybe Dark Matter/Chameleon can get some interactions with it going by the Metarion support
Monster
Monster Reborn being a forbidden card that nobody even knew about in SEVENS and was sealed off in GO RUSH is precisely why it hasn’t gotten support.
Ironically, if there was support for Monster Reborn, I think it would be more closely tied to Chameleon (Yuga Goha’s Deck) or Darkness (Otes’s Deck)
Imagine a world where every Rush Duel card reveal was a new OCG/TCG card instead.
Rush Is better
Dan I highly disagree.
dan i agree
That world is one that would never exist.
why the will release twice as cards as now just because rush doesnt exist? They will make the same amount of cards XD
Rush is far better, you get to play the game
If leaving a present in your diaper is playing the gaming, maybe
playing the gaming
I have to give Dark Matter credit for something: it’s one of those Decks that aren’t tied to the MC that has a ton of registered or known cards (so much so that Yugipedia already has to create a link to see the rest of Dark Matter’s cards since it has exceeded the limit of cards that can be shown without feeling bloated)
Also, at least for the Anime, I feel like Dark Matter has a card that allows you to do something or has almost all the functions that Rush Duels can offer.
I suppose that’s what you get when entire group of antagonists play one archetype.
Personally I would like bit more diversity there, like them playing Dark Matters along other, more personal themes. But that’s like my own opinion so eh.
Dark Matter is reminiscent of Meklord in that aspect: a Deck used by Main Antagonists that is predominant during its Season.
The only difference is that Emperors of Iliaster did not Duel often or consistently, compared to Darkmen, who have Dueled often and consistently (you can hardly say they have no presence when, in reality, they have a lot of presence/screen time)
And well, in theory, each Darkman, despite using Dark Matter, has its own identity.
– Sabuyas is the one who has the most offensive strategy of Dark Matter (focused on large amounts of ATK), as well as Aggro tactics. His Monsters have medieval or cavalry traits.
– Bruyea is the one who has the strategy focused on Dark Matter’s Field Spell, as well as redirect battle damage. His Monsters have cephalopod or deep ocean traits.
– Zeyet is the one who has the strategy focused on Dark Matter’s Equip Spells, as well as the only one in the Group who has more female-looking Monsters. Her Monsters have cheerleader traits, as well as Nordic inspiration.
– Fukamura is the one who uses the three Dark Matter’s strategies seen above, but with a more defensive focus. Basically, he’s the Aporia of the Group: the one who dominates everything, but doesn’t excel at anything.
– Finally, we have Yuamu. She is the one who uses the Dark Matter strategy focused on Contact Fusion for the most part, and her Deck is the one that uses the most Level 7 Monsters (the rest of the Darkmen’s main focus is Level 5 Monsters or Enigmata)
Yudias spends the entire previous episode modifying his deck to beat Yuamu, and his big strategy is to use variations of Interstelime to draw cards 🤡 I give up on this deck
