Wait effect 2 staklcks (a main game turn meaning a atk boost doesn’t wear off or has any restrictions to limits). I can’t tell if I should be happy for a dragon especially a high dragon to be a slatk stacker or concerned that this means rush is going to become as toxic as the main game.
Yamiluna also applied the same kind of effect and she came before this card did, as long as they print cards like these at a slow rate there’s no problem.
I see you’ve both been sleeping under a rock since these types of (Multiple) Effects have been around since the SEVENS Era (i.e., since 2021)
So… the Effects of this Fusion Monster are mediocre or not that great.
It’s just a 600 ATK boost, even if it’s permanent that’s basically nothing when most stuff is getting removed before the battle phase and most big attackers get up way bigger than that anyway. What’s with all the doomer talk?
I have no idea how you’re reading it but you’re reading it wrong.
This card is not good. It’s not a trash filler, but ultimately (usually) higher ATK boost till the end of turn or very minor boost till your opponent remove it is not worth all the investment to summon it.
I suppose one could try doing some silly OTKs by filling their GY with normal monsters, but this will work as often as Shadow Ghoul turbo in main game.
This Pack really feels like a throwback to the good old days of the SEVENS Era as this Fusion Monster feels like it should have come out three years ago.
At least it’s easier to bring into the Field compared to the average High Dragon Fusion Monster.
You are meant to play this in a Deck centered around vanillas with Star Restart and cards that support it. Strike Dragons (if you play the Umbralancer package), The Dragias, Metarion or High-Tech Dragon with Red Reboot are your best bets but even they probably wouldn’t play this card since they have much better options.
Star Restart can revive Dragon Knight and recover Fusion from the GY. During the turn it is summoned, Wicked Dragon of Darkness mills 2 and can recover Dragon Knight. Shadowbringer Dragon can revive Wicked Dragon from the GY on Normal Summon, and after recovering Dragon Knight you can Tribute Summon or with Shadowbringer.
For the payoff however you get a very mediocre monster that only gains ATK. Permanent 3500 ATK is great but without protection or multiple attacks like the other Fusions it becomes a paperweight. The other effect requires you to play a vanilla heavy Deck which you probably won’t be doing at this stage. Again, the Decks that still play vanillas have much better Fusions to go into.
Exactly, too many people in these comment sections have no understanding of how cards are Supposed to be played, …and instead can only think from the perspective of Their own decks.. .. .and how the cards would fit into their decks currently.
Not how that work!
I’m a HERO player, Doesn’t mean I can use Every HERO card available in my deck, ignoring my playing style, doesn’t mean the other cards are garbage either!
It’s not that hard to understand.
