If it’s the third one, then a Goyo Guardian and a Shockmaster retrain would be interesting to say the least.

Master Duel literally explains this. Demise and Ruin are two halves of an eschatological entity that ends worlds. Ruin resets worlds giving them chances to find a better solution, and if those worlds cannot find an answer to escape what caused them to barrel towards doomsday, Ruin is replaced by Demise who ends a world permanently.
“The End of the World Ruler” is probably some unrestrained absolute authority mode.

1) I believe somebody had complained about the Illusion monsters being based on the non-toon cards Max Pegasus played, and that they hadn’t been released as Illusion monster… well…
2) with this, does that mean, at least for now, Nightmare itself can be marked as a Series, if not an upcoming full archetype?

A shame Ruler’s Level 10. Would’ve been nice to use Advanced Ritual Art with two Insect Knights again.
That’d make original Demise fully outclassed, which isn’t wise card design.

eyes restrict is wholesome and so happy its illusion as if it was up to me i would from now on release all cards that are related to pegasus as illusions (the eyes restrict only obviously)
How so? All I see is decent Ritual Support digused as a brick in your Ritual Decks, since summoning this will require you to run the Impcantations w/Ritual Spell or the End of World Spells, which suck. Most Ritual Decks can’t really recycle their Spells, there are some ofc.
Nah that card is mid, it’s basically just Chalislime 2.0 that doesn’t need a discard and probably won’t see any play unless they release a ritual deck that specifically works well with that kind of effect which none of the current good ritual decks do.

I don’t think you even need to summon it? By revealing it from your hand it can become any Ritual Spell from your deck, and you can just tribute it for the Ritual Summon you are doing. Since it is high level, it will just be the Spell AND the Tribute and for any Ritual Monster under level 10 basically…
Demise itself doesnt need banned, but with it coming out it does mean they need to ban Magician of Black Chaos Maxx. Otherwise you can use demise to banish high ritual art and summon maxx from deck, then keep looping it with dyna mondo.
@Luna No need to ban Maxx either since Demise is not quick effect and Maxx would not affect opponent’s turn.
Maxx is still a problem, you use demise on your turn to summon it, then you just keep looping it through your opponents turns thanks to dyna mondo to keep your opponent locked out of the game. Even if you go second you opponent only has 1 turn to do anything before they cant play at all
Whoa! I just the other day talked about the fact I was still waiting for them to remake Pegasus non-toon cards into illusion monsters! Funny timing. Anyways, it looks like a great card, which is really nice to see!

It at least is a two card combo when paired with any of the mitsurugi rituals. May not be much, but even so, as you we don’t know the future.
If you equip Detonating Kuriboh to your opponent’s Nightmare-Eyes Restrict it will negate the effects and let MoBC destroy it in battle.
Now if we could finally just get a proper MoBC ritual retrain…

this is way to broken especially with mitsurugi. if your habakiri gets negated you can just pay 2k and banish the mitsurugi ritual. Or in blue eyes you can pay 2k use high ritual art and bring out magician of black chaos max stop nib and hand traps and lock your opponent out from monster effects if you use dyna mondo. and then bring out magia
