they do have the ability to make multiple, solemn is just an annoying generic side deck option to deal with when going first, snake-eye is a very fair deck without original
Oof they hit Vanquish Soul a lot harder and sooner than I expected. Herald and Solemn and Splash Mage hits are also very weird.
snake eyes has been fine. they could give them back all of their cards unlimited and they’d still be fine
1) Yummy was making a second Arc Light during the opp’s MP2 after the first one got outted via Battle Phase. Also played multiple in the Mitsurugi version of the deck.
2) It has been having a high usage rate lately, but honestly I never felt like it was particularly degenerate? Like I get that LP is a resource and all, but a backrow/summon negate at the cost of making it twice as easy for me to lethal you feels like a fair trade. I dunno, I think the Judgment limit was weird.
3) Unlimit the Snake Eyes because with OSS banned they’re not gonna do a damn thing. Hell I think they could even get OSS back at this point and be fine.

In honesty, the hits on certain cards are questionable and necessary. Solemn Judgment being the main one since it’s usage is in the side deck, and not every deck can afford to play it.
As for the cards used in the popular decks, especially when they were going up in price from higher rarities, Question mark in the sense of why hit the cards bringing them money in an attempt to make a “fair” format. Which is a reach.

What decks can’t afford to pay half their LP? The strongest part about Judgment is that you can always activate it no matter what.
I mean I agree the limit was weird, it felt like a very fair card that only certain decks would play that get hosed by boardbreakers, but like it was definitely playable in every deck under the sun.

I mean, it was going to be banned either way. Also, the product it was in was delayed in the EU regions. …Meaning the list was either going to be earlier(but delayed due to the product delay) or, well, they would’ve had a lot more time to enjoy the upgrade.
Also, it’s easy to make money off of it since people want the bling. They don’t know if it would be banned till it happened. Meaning more product sold.
So it was never a waste. They got their money’s worth for it.

Limiting Solemn Judgement in anno domini 2025 is some kind of a joke. This card is too slow and too costly to be super relevant again… unless Konami is cooking some broken Dinomorphia support or something.

Wouldn’t surprise me. TCG gets a list of cards to be printed ahead of time. Kinda how they unlimited dracoslayer for the upcoming dracoslayer support. Maybe solemn becomes searchable with upcoming support? Kinda like how darklords now have a way to search droplet.
Solemn Judgment was recently in plenty of Side Decks this format and a handful of Main Decks. Life Points are just another resource in this format that Solemn Judgment makes it not matter much.
Solemn Judgment and Strike have been saying a ton of side-deck use in the past format or two.
I think the mentality from Konami is that the LP cost meant Judgment was more balanced due to time rules, but with those gone it’s much less dangerous to use.
Honestly, I see why they waited. Pretty big list, and it makes sense. Not sure why Judgement is limiited though.

My Cyberse deck has been stopped. First they ban Link Decoder and now splash mage. I have to move on to something else.
If losing splash mage killed it it wasn’t a good cyberse deck to begin with. You have access to firewall, mathmech, @ignister, and maliss cards. You’ll live.

If you are actually running a Cyberse deck like Marincess, Maliss or Salads and you somehow have issues about no longer having access to those two cards, you might want to redo your deck from scratch cause you most definitely messed somewhere when building these decks. None of the Cyberse archetypes and hybrid build Cyberse decks we have, especially the three I mentioned, should’ve been that solely reliant on those two cards to begin with.

Closed Heaven acts as a bridge to the Fiendsmith engine.
They didnt use it for its effect. It was a generic Light Fiend that allowed Full-Combo Fiendsmith to be run in any deck that could summon 2 monsters. Was just… bad typing/attribute design. It could be a fairy and be unlimited.
