Yeah, it’s meant to be so you can use Albaz on field to super poly off 2 of your opponent’s monsters, be it with his effect or super poly itself. You then shuffle back the cards you used from their field to deny revival, or get back your own combo pieces.
Ecclesia is now an archetype with this

There is only one card left, so unless it is some absurdly broken card, no way it is better than the previous structure deck.
That’s kinda disappointing, this doesn’t really do anything. It can’t be summoned with fusion because it requires 3 monsters and the end phase GY effect can’t summon (unlike every other Albaz dragon that deals with monsters) so we can just replace titanklad. The only thing this is good for is as a target for fusion with your opponent’s monsters. This could have been great if it just said summon or add on the end phase effect
The first effect is very light to matter, the second effect is nice defensive option except that both Eclessia are not worth running, and the new alt art probably means that no new Ecclesia either…
If it said “Virtuous” monster it would have come up most of the time, and currently most decks don’t play around a towers.
Not summoning to field sucks, adding Mercourier is nice, and can add Dogmatika Ecclesia to summon her on op turn and not deal with the extra deck lock… except that if this is in the GY it doesn’t need Ecclesia anymore unless you randomly revive it with Ad Libitum or Branded Banishment but at that point… revive something better like Mirrorjade??? And this is assuming it didn’t use the GY eff by being mill from the Extra Deck so it can’t be revived.
As a Superpoly/Banishment target to use the opp board it isn’t as good either, since if you have Albaz on field you can already use Albaz+opp monster for Mirrorjade/Lubelion/Albion, or if they don’t have a non Light/Dark/Fusion/Synchro/XYZ/Link monster and you summon this new card, you are using 2 monsters to remove 1 when probably using your Albaz+Light/Dark into Albion/Lubelion gives you way more options anyway that also ends in removing 1 monster (cause Mirrorjade after).
Needing 3 monsters for doing anything is crazy
@cardtrooper, Ecclesia not worth running excuse you? Outside of Swordsoul decks, running “Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous” as part of an “Iris Swordsoul” engine is a must IMO.
As for the fusion card not being good, I’m more focused on the “immune to the effects of other cards” portion of its effect. For actually fusion summoning it… Well “Heavy Polymerization” is certainly useful

I don’t think the anime is going to get past the Spriggan introduction arc with only 6 episodes. I’m fine with that if it prevents them from rushing the pace and they just revisit it again for more episodes next year.
@yukicrewger, if ur calling Ecclesia into iris good, then ur clearly a casual player, and havent faced Branded properly.
That combo is pointless.
Incredible ecclesia is only good in swordsoul (so No Fusions there)
Dogmatika ecclesia is only good in dogmatika or stun decks (which again, don’t play fusions)
Pls consider the fact that some of us are talking competitively and don’t consider a tier 30 strategy competitive.

So for 3 Materials you get a 3000 atk beater. This won’t make the cut for any Branded deck.
So for resolving Rindbrumm’s grave effect, you get to remove two bodies and recycle other fusions. This will make the cut for any branded deck
naw it wont make a branded deck. Branded’s extra deck is already super tight with a handful of extra deck tools that are not even in the the branded archtype like khaos, dragonlord, furious, regis, secreterion and more.
theres not enough space for this card. the towers effect isnt that good when there are better endboard pieces like dragonlord or sanctifire. Shuffling is okay but for the cost of making it, it seems like a low payoff. Banishment recursion is nice but its not really needed. Even if BraFu is banished off of fusion dupe, you can recover it with kitt. Even alba-lenatus or secreterion provide better utility outside of grind game recursion than this new fusion.

Simple Combo
1. Fuse Albion Sanctifire Dragon using Albaz and Ecclesia
2. In opponent turn Special Summon Albaz and Ecclesia
3. Use Albaz Effect to Fuse Ecclesia and 1 opponent Monster
Now you have Sanctifire that can’t be targeted and Stigmata that unaffected by opponent and can shuffle opponent card

This card FINALLY makes using Fallen of Albaz’s Fusion Summon effect viable. You simply Special Summon Fallen with Red, and et voila.
What are you talking about, albaz’s fusion eff was already often used.
Whether you summon albaz off of rindbrumm, titaniklad, sanctifire, or even normal summon, its often used to clear opponent’s extra deck mounters by fusing into mirrorjade.
The materials are pretty hefty, and if you wanted field removal with Albaz or Super Poly there are far better Fusions to go into.
Needing Ecclesia in the GY is meh since Dogmatika and Swordsoul don’t use Fusions outside Punishment and Nadir.
The shuffle back from GY or banishment in the Deck is good but not worth the materials.
second turn branded player: Specialsummon Searing Lubellion – effect shuffle 3 monster back Albaz 1 1 L or D + 1 Effect Monster… then effect shuffle 2 more Cards back in deck – from Banishment incl.

First off all, the new fusion monster is a somehow a dogmatika support and dogmatika doesn’t even play extra deck monster. It sucks a** in branded. Noone is gonna play this crap ever in his deck. Second of all, what the f does TTT has to do with tri-brigades, pls tell me. Who did ever play TTT in tri-brigades? How the f did you manage to f this up and didn’t make it a branded alt. art? Omfg. Konami fire your card design team this is just disappointing.
Tfw most people ignore that this is one of the only ways that branded has to interact with the opponent’s banishment and the fact that it triggers on special summon as well meaning that you could loop this to never run out of extra deck resources or retributions
Just because branded didnt have a way to interact with opps vanish before, doesnt mean its needed.
