      I like regular yugioh more but i do like the ancient gear support they are giving it. It doesnt fit the archtype but its just goofy

        It fits what Ancient Gear wants to do in Rush (Lower the amount of Tributes needed for the big bois and send specific backrow to the GY for benefits). Having a way to grab the cards you sent back helps with consistency.

      Not recovering Barrage from the GY is certainly a choice, but Gear Section is still the core of the Deck and finding ways to keep it on the field for its effects or to use as cost is immensely valuable.
      I like that Ancient Gear was one of the first archetypes in main Yugioh to support its archetypal Field Spell and how the spirit has been kept in Rush.

      Well, Ancient Gear Crown is definitely the missing piece that the Deck needed to be more consistent.

      Now we have to wait for the rest of Metarion’s cards to also help improve the Deck’s weaknesses.
