Continuous Spell Card
(1) Each time the effect of a card other than “BBS – Be Back Site” is activated: You can place 1 Access Counter on this card (max. 10).
(2) Monsters on your field gain 100 ATK for each Access Counter on this card.
(3) If an Access Counter is placed on this card and the number of Access Counters reaches 10: You can return this card to the hand, and if you do, Set 1 Continuous Trap directly from your Deck that has an effect that Special Summons itself as a monster, also, the card Set by this effect can be activated the same turn it was Set.
Note: BBS means both the slang “Be Back Soon” but also refers to “Bulletin Board System/Bulletin Board Site“, i.e. Textboards, the most infamous of which are 4chan and 2channel, and are the most popular means of anonymous communication in Japan.
The girl from “You’re Finished!” is on here because BBS sites like 4chan and 2channel would be the most likely to deal with Access Counters, i.e. Web Counters/Hit Counters.

10 is considered a really nice “Kiriban” number in Japanese. Really good to get multiples of it on your Web Counter.

So are we gonna get a Trap Monster archetype? Or Eldlich support? That’s two generic trap monster support cards now.

I think it’s going to stick with generic support for now since Trap monsters are almost their own archetype anyway. I could see Eldlich support in the future, though

flamberge summon I;P, I;P eff to link results in a total of 9 resolutions.
Mirror swordsknight into berfomet and then fuse makes 6 resolution plus if your opponent uses an on-field monster eff you can negate which makes a total of 8.
People always think 10 is a lot, same as that they used to think Masquerade burn doesnt matter until they realised they resolve 12 effects before making anything threatening if they did their usual combo

…Tbh even if this card is a crap I kinda like it because it’s a bit of a head scratcher. There’s a lot of decks that can make this card live very quickly and you don’t really need to play full-on Trap Monster deck to make this card work. Between Hat Hare and this there’s skeleton for some Trap Monsters-as-engine kind of stuff. We just need trap monsters worth playing.
I’m enjoying the character more than the card effects. Reminds me of Live Twins.

It gets counter for every card activation so getting that 10 is not super difficult. You can get there in most modern decks just by doing your plays. It also counts opponent’s activations so any hand trap etc will just fuel it.
It’s an interesting kind of card that in certain cases can work like soft floodgate, issue is that currently available Trap Monsters are kinda meh.
Also, small correction – both 4chan and 2chan are technically not BBSes. True BBS boards kinda died in 90s.

Even if you run just this and just 3 x some relevant Trap Monsters this should be interesting. You just do your plays and then either you have substantial ATK buff or a safety net in case of your opponent dropping some counter-play.

3 x BBS + 3 x You’re Finished (or any other Trap Monster) seems like enough.
Hell, that first effect is not bad on its own if you’ll not be able to get full 10. These few hundreds more ATK on every monster can turn almost OTKs into OTKs or let you run over annoying monsters. People sleep on that first effect but probably it will be more often relevant than second one.

Kinda counter productive considering trap monsters don’t activate that many cards, but it’s still cool anyway to have support for unusual deck.
