The first episode of the promotional anime Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game: The Chronicles, centering around Sky Striker Ace, is now live. The video features subtitles in English, Korean and ST/TD Chinese.

Raye has undoubtedly earned Skystrikemillion stars, surpassing other Animes (despite being an OVA or ONA, as mentioned there)
And well, interestingly, the first OVA is called Raye and the second OVA (which will be released in May) is called Roze.
I suppose that, when Branded’s turn comes around, we’ll have OVAs called Albaz, Aluber, Ecclesia, Kitt, etc.
I’m guessing this is gonna be the new anime since there wasn’t a new one announced at Jump Festa.
This year we are getting GX remake and this. Assumption is that Konami is taking year off from big Yu-Gi-Oh! anime to move production from Bridge to their newly established internal studio.
Also, day 4 of waiting for Inmato support!
Oh my God, yes. I love Raye. I would die for Sky Striker Ace Raye. This show is going to change my life and it’s going to be the best show ever.

Kinda thought they’d be longer animations but hey at least it’s good quality
While exact episode lengths were never specified, I do believe we already knew they were’t going to be long. They’d be in line with stuff like Pokétoon’s or Paldean Winds or those other auxiliary Pokémon Animations. And it seems this is true.
they already said it gonna be a monthly release series, which starts in April and ends before June (Albaz series begins in June)…so yeah…2 episode
Does that mean we will get more SS cards every month until the anime finishes ?
Sky Strikers anime is only two months. In June the Albaz story will start and continue for the foreseeable future.
Great visuals and glad it’s subbed too – but less than 5 minutes and being mostly action is a bit of a mood killer if we really end up not getting YGO 9. I was hoping at least for something with a bit more narrative if they were going to adapt the archetypes into anime visuals.
I really hope there is going to be a “to be continued” at the end of the 2nd episode … they are barely going to scratch the surface of the known lore with only a couple of very short ONAs.
I just have a question. Why the episodes on Yu-Gi-Oh Master duel about sky striker, recently added, give us more story in less time than this ova?
Boring fight, the flashback fight was more interesting. Less than 4 minutes when you take into account op and credits = 2 new cards. Now that you’ve seen this promotional anime you cannot resisting buying the 2 new sky striker cards.
