An alien lifeform that suddenly crash-landed from the heavens far above. Field Spell Card
(1) When this card resolves, excavate the top 6 cards of your Deck, and if you do, place them on the top of the Deck in any order.
(2) Once per turn: You can pay 1500 LP; Special Summon 1 “Materiactor” Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck, by using 1 Level 3 Normal Monster you control as material (this is treated as an Xyz Summon), also you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Xyz Monsters.
(3) If an Xyz Monster is Xyz Summoned: You can attach the top card of your Deck to 1 of your “Materiactor” Xyz Monsters as material.
Note: A Meltthrough is the worst case scenario of a meltdown where the core melts through all protective components.

Eh, I’d still also use Hunter Dragon anyway, it has 1700 ATK. Besides, why would you use just 3 vanillas when you can afford to run 6?

Never. Especially after the S/T zone nerf.
Despite being printed twice, the two values are always equal, as monsters only have one Pendulum Scale. In the same way as monsters can only have one Level, etc.
Monsters do not always have 2 Pend Scale. The Scale depends on the Zone used.

there’s a card from Lightning Overdrive called Clock Arc that has a scale effect that makes its scales asymmetrical.
i like it. it physically resembles a pendulum because it’s meant to ‘swing’ from one scale to the other, while only being able to be summoned to the center main monster zone in between.

Let’s go. I was hoping for a Materiactor normal pendulum monster! Better then the Sushi normal pendulum, since it has the correct name.
I love that they can print normal pendulum monsters when they want to make a normal monster with an effect! I think we first saw this move with Bujins, right? It’s very neat. To all of those that feel yucky at the sight of a pendulum, this is just an effort to make the cake and eat it too.
Of course, nothing’s stopping you from actually using it as a scale 1. XYZs are also some of the better accompaniments to pendulum (despite it sending overlay material to the GY), as you only need to worry about one level for the scales and they’re generic enough to get to to allow Pendulum Evolution’s 2nd pend summon to happen the easiest.
