AGOV-JP022 Ooyatsu Tsumamuhime
LIGHT Plant/Effect
Level 4 1600/200
(1) Once per turn, when a card or effect is activated that targets this card, or when this card is targeted for an attack (Quick Effect): You can Special summon 1 “Oyatsu Token” (Plant/LIGHT/Level 1/800 ATK/800 DEF).
(2) Once per turn, when your opponent would Special Summon a monster(s) (Quick Effect): You can Tribute 1 Normal Monster; negate the Summon, and if you do, destroy that monster(s).
The Japanese name, Ooyatsu Tsumamuhime, appears to be a play on two things:
- oyatsu wo tsumamu, “nibbling on snacks”
- Ooyatsuhime Tsumatsuhime, a tree goddess from Japanese mythology

Is this cannibalism?
How komoney managed to make a lvl plant worse than carrotweight would be amazing if it wasn’t depressing
*lvl 4 plant
How can a monster able to infinitely self-revive be bad? While regarding this one, it’s a Black Horn of Heaven on legs, which can self-protect from imperm and self-replace when removed in battle. I wouldn’t call it “bad” for a pack filler common, and I’d like to play it as a spicy tech in Sunavalon if Cactus Bouncer gets banned.
Carrotweight saw competitive play in 5D era, this card on the other hand is not consistent enough to be viable in GOAT, you need to target it yourself to summon the token and it can only negate 1 special summon, which was pretty much never good enough for a normal summon.
Should have been Earth, it would at least be a 1 card Natbeast in combination with Diablomantis, now its just a bad card. Kinda sad they made a Sylvan style art for it, and then gave it that useless effect that hardly synergizes with any other plant deck, and especially not with sylvans.
