Saw the Level for a second and got a bit upset, but then I remembered the Spirit Gates Continuous Spell can search this card from your Deck and/or Special Summon it from your GY. One of the other mini Beasts also searches the Continuous Spell on summon and can be Linked off so you can meet the requirement for Opening of the Spirit Gates.
Seems to be a one off support card for this set unfortunately so no more Sacred Beast cards in here. But this card is still better than nothing albeit you need prior set up to use it.

If sacred beasts are getting support maybe ancient gears will too, then maybe they will work as a anti-meta deck.
I am getting tired of your ancient gear commitments, you are obsessed with them, you try something different, take a break from masterdule and try 1 rush duelling or something. But looking at this card at a critical point of view, it could mean that the sacred beasts might end up with the cards needed to fly with out any of themed cards.
I hope this is the set with a Rainbow Dark Dragon closer to the anime version.

Does anyone have a idea on what potential ancient gear support might look like, I read a comment a while ago, saying that 1 possible peace of new support could be a duel academy soldier as a new search engine card.
New support for any archetype could be just about anything. You’ve got the tried-and-true standards of “overtuned Link-1 or Link-2”, “Field Spell with a bunch of effects”, and “search Spell with upside”, you’ve got cards that might as well not exist, you’ve got Mathmech Circular, and you’ve got the periodic “wave of new support completely invalidates the old playstyle and most of the old cards, leaving the archetype a husk of its former self”. I think the best you can hope for is something like what Naturia got, reinforcing the deck’s existing playstyle while making it both more consistent and more resilient.
Well what does it need? Does it need more consistency? If so a normal summon that searches. Does it need more interruption? If so a new boss monster with a negate and a trap that can destroy. Does it need more extension? If so, a monster that special summons itself from the hand does something else, then does another thing either when it leaves the field or by banishing itself from GY. Or an overtuned Link-1/2 that does a few things.

First, no link-2’s the last one that was printed for ancient gear was a brick, second, it really needs all the above, as it needs a more reliable search engine as the best present 1 prevents you from setting after its effect is used, the ancient gear playstyle is to either tribute or fusion summon powerful but versatile monsters that can strike the opponent down, maybe if they print a on them way to recycle cards used for a fusion summon that might work, as well as a number of new fusion’s, I have this idea about a searching fusion monster based on a ursagryph, it like a griffin but has the wings, claws, and head of a owl, the body of a bear, with a dragons tail.
But I would still like to see the Ultimate ancient gear hunting hound be printed, I must confess I will cheat it out using fusion parasite instead of its anime summoning conditions.

Requirements in hand: Vernusylph Seedling or Vernusylph Hills + Red, Green, or Yellow Gadget
-Activate your Vernusylph discarding a Gadget, add the other Vernusylph name among those two, revive the Gadget, add the next Gadget in the cycle
-Discard that Gadget for the new Vernusylph, add Vernusylph Forest, revive that Gadget, add another Gadget
-Xyz Summon Gear Gigant X with the two Gadgets, add Ancient Gear Box, add Ancient Gear Frame
-Activate Forest discarding a third Gadget, revive it and add another Gadget and mill Machina Fortress
-Link Gear Gigant and the Gadget into Ancient Gear Ballista, add Ancient Gear Hunting Hound
-Normal Hunting Hound, fuse with Box, Ballista, and Frame into Chaos Ancient Gear Giant
-Attack for game
