“Unleash the Egyptian God Card! Yami Marik Returns” returns.
Collecting “Map Fragments” to proceed through the event. Beat up Rare Hunters, Arkana and Yami Marik to proceed through the event.
The goal of the event is to obtain “The Winged Dragon of Ra” and Yami Marik’s new skill.
Once per day you can fight a special Rare Hunter who will give you a huge boost in Event Points.
(Those who already got “The Winged Dragon of Ra” get a UR Jewel in its place)
The event now lets you Duel against Arkana Level 10 to 40 by proceeding through the event.
You can obtain Marik’s new Skill by completing all story segments of the event.
Once per day you can fight a Special Rare Hunter to obtain a huge amount of points.
Flow of the Event:
- Earn Map Fragments by defeating Duelists in Duel World
- When you collect enough Map Fragments, you’ll locate the Rate Hunters
- Defeat the generic Rare Hunter and Arkana to locate Yami Marik
- Defeat Marik to unlock the Gate.
- And gather Event Points to receive prizes.
Challenges for the Event:
Challenge 1: Collect 20 or more Map Fragments
Challenge 2: Collect 40 or more Map Fragments
Challenge 3: Collect 60 or more Map Fragments
Challenge 4: Complete Challenge 3
Challenge 5: Complete Challenge 4 + Collect 200,000 or more Event Points
Challenge 6: After the 4th or so day of the event + Collect 1,000,000 Event Points + Complete Challenge 5.
Defeat Marik to obtain The Winged Dragon of Ra
Beating the event’s main story flow will let you obtain “Power of the Tributed”, a Skill that lets “The Winged Dragon of Ra” gain the ATK of the monsters used to Tribute Summon it.
(Konami confirms this skill will be obtained in other ways in the future)
Gain a certain amount of points to obtain Yami Marik, whose skills specialize in dishing out damage and using the damage dealt to you.
As well you can obtain Masked Fiend-Type cards, along with Slimes and Ra related support.
The examples are using “Revival Jam” with “Jam Defender” and Masked Best Des Gardius’s whole mini strategy.
