[EFFECT] That monster loses 1000 ATK x [The number of “Skull Servant” in your GY] until the end of the turn.

Literally my first thought when reading the title of the article 🤣
imagine seeing 3x Skull Servant in every decklist just for using Skeletal Swarm. I want that world.

The Trap helps to justify Baron Wight’s place in the Deck but right now the number of valid targets is still only 9 at most so hopefully we get more Wight monsters treated as Skull Servant in the GY.
The Spell is an automatic -2 with it only being -1 with setup. Even though Zombies want to be in the GY anyway for their plays it is still remiss to give up hand advantage while doing so.
Since Halloween season is already over I imagine this will be the last wave of support for them for a while.
So for rush yes but for the Classic One nothing? Why????
While the cost of Certain Death Promotion is high, I’m glad that it can also destroy Backrow or face-down Monsters. At the same time, I like the references the card has in the Artwork: a bunch of old OCG/TCG acquaintances.
Skeletal Swarm will only get better when we have more Monsters that can act as Skull Servants in the GY.
It seems that the Decks that appeared in “Neo Legend Awakening Pack” have received some support in this Pack (where’s Metarion, Konami?)
The artwork for certain death commotion is cool.
Seeing Despair From the Dark/Spirit Reaper/Double Coston etc is cool.
