Much of this support, ironically, works better in DARK Galaxy than LIGHT Galaxy. Darkness Dwarf even received the limitation that it only works for Fusion Summon DARK attribute Monsters (mostly Galaxy). The Anime version was more generic with the Fusion Summon section.
Darkness Galactica Oblivion received a bit of an overhaul as it now cannot affect Monsters with 0 original ATK: causing it to lose the ability to negate Continuous Effects with Monsters that initially have 0 ATK.
Darkness Doom Giant sounds great on paper and is easy to make (combines well with Darkness Transamu Craisis)
JP002 is unknown but there could be two options: 1) A Normal Monster or 2) A Darkness Monster.
At least!!!
I am glad Konami is printing more Fusions for the Darkness babies, as they would have only been used for their on field effect and not for their intended purpose of setting up for their Fusion’s effects.
Dwarf’s effect only applies for DARK Fusion monsters now, but seeing as how most Fusions have specifically named materials (and the few that have more flexible materials *still* cannot use Dwarf as material), that isn’t an issue.
Doom Giant appears to set up Craisis directly, while indirectly supporting Voidvelgr by being used as Tribute fodder and/or retrieving a Fusion from GY to hand if you already have the Level 8 you need. Its Level of course is intentionally set at 7 so you can’t use this for Chaosmachia when it eventually gets printed without additional set up.
Darkness Galactica Oblivion’s nerf is not that much of a big deal; there are currently just 3 monsters with Continuous Effects and 0 ATK. The two Garzetts which are easy to out and have no protection, and Love Angel whose limited battle protection is inapplicable against this Level 9 monster anyway.
Craisis is much more useful in Voidvelgr and is a great form of removal for them, especially backrow. The issue of 3 Tributes isn’t much of a deal even in Voidvelgr, as they have several low levels they want to summon anyway as Fusion material or Tribute fodder. May be useful in other DARK themes as well as it doesn’t need Galaxy monsters in any way.
I wonder if Yudias (or Kuaidul) will use the Doom Giant to Craisis play in the anime, but it is entirely possible that like Fuse Eve and other such cards to supplement anime themes, it may not see play at all.
(Also Konami, print another Darkness Drake Fusion with Blue-Tooth.)
