Kinda cool and all but honestly not needed. Vanillas that don’t immediately generate advantage aren’t as much of a big deal. I guess it is compatible with Legend Strike.

Well, we know konami is not known to make only relevant cards, see new sets only 10-20% max of the cards become meta relevant, rest is pure garbage/nostalgia bait
The “only 10-20% max of cards are relevant” doesn’t really hold true for the latest Rush Duel sets though.
Most of the cards in each of the latest sets are relevant to specific archetypes, so they’re more “eternal”** in that sense. Which is partly why they’re really nice as sealed products. The cards you open are actually useful, at least for some deck.
**Though, admittedly, hardly anything is really eternal in the grand scope of a TCG’s lifespan).
Honestly this could have veen Kabuzauls and the reaction would still be underwhelmed.
Pretty sure we could have 1800ATK lv4 vanillas and nothing about the game would change meta wise

No, he’s saying that this is card was the first Dinosaur monster ever printed in Yugioh, as in the original game, and that it’s finally coming to Rush. So this card is definitely not the first Rush Dinosaur, but it was the very first Dinosaur from the original game.
To be more specific, it’s the first Dinosaur monster in the original manga.
