It could also be a play on Baros, which means ‘weight’. Also, it interacting with itself and 3 cards and 3 cards on each effect might be why it has “shi” in the name, as in 4.
There’s probably a bunch of things going on here, and we’re not entirely sure which.

The card HAS to banish a trap to banish a spell and a monster? Seems kinda mid
This thing loves the Unchained graveyard, tbf. If it’s gonna see play anywhere, it might be there. Especially if they play the Demonsmith stuff that makes this searchable.
But I don’t know. Its effect reads like a Chaos Angel but without any protection afterwards. I don’t know if it’s good enough.

I was about to comment that this wouldn’t work, the deck gets fiendlocked… then I looked up and realized this wasn’t a dragon!
Not taking up a normal summon, threatening high damage, floating, choosing specific cards but arbitrarily not targeting, it’s all so tiresome even when its so common.

Okay, so this monster can be special summoned outside of it’s first effect. Oh boy. Wouldn’t say I’d play this in Labrynth, but it can be revived by Labyrinth Labrynth and especially Muckraker. Obviously can work with Fiend Smith now that Light Fiend is looking to be heavily utilized for the strategy.
Also good in Unchained, as they fill their grave quickly with the rarer trap cards as a part of their combo.

You could toss this into vaalmonica, since banishing spell/traps isn’t an issue and its searchable because you’ll be running fiendsmith. Only issue is what monster to banish.
This card is surprisingly versatile, as you don’t have to Special Summon it with its procedure to banish your opponent’s resources. It is also balanced by only banishing if it is Special Summoned from your hand.
Banish and Rank 10 Decks are going to love this.
