STORY & ILLUSTRATIONS No.13
A “Duel Terminal” World Addendum Story
The Battles Of Those Who Survived
A planet inhabited by diverse lifeforms, whose souls cycle through the Sacred Tree. This is the story of the aftermath of two youngsters who lived through the battle in which the fate of the world was at stake, and the decisive battle that unfolded after that.
The Rise of a New Tribe
The tragedy of their tribe, followed by a war against the powerful Worldcreation God. A little more than 10 years after that…
The light of the bonds they once saw, and the glittering hope disappearing into the future…
The scars left behind by the great war run deep, but the two youngsters who survived it inherited the dying wishes of those who are no longer with them, vowing to fight to protect the land and those living in it from any new conflicts. Others sharing their resolve naturally rallied under their banner.
The two of them upgraded the rituals performed by the “Aquamirror”, which can transform minds and bodies, elevating it into the ritual technique of the “Descending Magic Mirror”, which equips the souls of the summoned war heroes as armaments.

The Other Sacred War
While the fate of the world was at stake during the battle between “Zefraath” and “Tierra, Source of Destruction”, the appearance of “Infernoid Flood”, the last remaining Deathsciple of the Azure Flames, drove the allied forces, even “Ritual Beast Ulti-Nochiudrago”, into a corner. “Spiritual Beast Tamer Lara” awakened the power the Worldcreation God power in herself, unleashing a power that rivaled it.
At that time, almost as if responding to that power being unleashed, the massive weapon hidden in the Sacred Tree, “Zefra Metaltron”, activated itself. In the blink of an eye, it manifested to the battlefield that was covered in Azure Flames.
Lara, who had just unleashed the power that is holding her life together, no longer had the power to operate Metaltron. She entrusted part of the Metaltron to the other being who held part of the power of the Worldcreation God: “Nekroz of Sophia”.
Nekroz of Sophia transfered “The Power of Creation and Destruction” to the “Descending Magic Mirror”, upgrading it into the “Nekroz Divinemirror”. And then, through the Divinemirror, which became a divine relic of all Creation and Destruction, she equipped Zefra Metaltron on herself and began the final fight against Infernoid Flood.

TL notes:
-The “Sacred Tree” is written as the 神星樹 (shinseijuu, Divine Planet Tree). This is the term used in Naturia Sacred Tree.
-“Worldcreation God” (創星神, souseishin) is the title in the Japanese name of Sophia, Goddess of Rebirth. It also applies to Tierra, Source of Destruction, but chronologically speaking, this would refer to Sophia.
-“Descending Magic Mirror” (降魔鏡, koumakyou) is part of the Japanese name of Nekroz Mirror. The Divinemirror replaces the first kanji with 神 (divine).
-“Deathsciple” (死徒, shito) is a homophone of 使徒 (disciple) replacing the first kanji for “death”. This has been used for Infernoids through the Duel Terminal lore.
-The “Azure Flames” (蒼焔, souen) have been mentioned in the lore before as well. The term is used in the Japanese name for Eye of the Void.

The DT World can’t catch a break, huh? It’s cool to see Metaltron worked into the lore though!
This is the “Terminal World” booster pack after all. Not only new cards.
I want a Season 0 depicting the ancestral and forgotten tribes of the very first cycle of the DT world. (DT1 is not the first cycle)
If metal trone is just randomly inside of the sacred tree does that mean true drac happened way way way before duel terminal and it is infact just the same world
The name is “Metaltron XII, the True Dracombatant”, meaning it’s (likely) the twelfth iteration/descendant down from the original “Zefra Metaltron” (i.e., “Metaltron the First”). And we already know the True Draco storyline is cross-dimensional, so it’s not much of a surprise that it’s referencing something from Terminal World (if there aren’t already other examples somewhere).
Pretty sure they’re all in the same universe, if Knightmare Incarnation Idlee’s similarly to Sophia is anything to go by.
i think it might be multi dimensional as well, because charmer lore connects to DT because they stated that wind charmer is Winda’s sister that travelled to another dimension. The magistus manga also dived a bit deeper into the dimensional concept.
“Deathsciple”!? I love it.
When you have a lisp but it be cool like that.
I wish Golden Nova Yugioh would see this stuff. I recall he REALLY didn’t like Zefra Metaltron due to the supposed connection it had to DT, back when he made the Zefra video a few years back.
Now if only Zefra Metaltron was actually good in a Zefra Deck. Why’s it need monsters summoned from the Extra Deck, while being part of a PENDULUM Deck that struggles to do that in the first place?!
Because the intended design of Zefra Metaltron (shortening it to “OG Metaltron” or “{Link(-3)} Metaltron {Link}”) is exclusively for Zefra-hybrid or Zefra-mix decks since most of the monsters are crosses of other deck themes/archetypes in which almost all of them play Extra Deck monsters. However, Konami may make a Link-2 Zefra Link Monster that helps pure Zefras generally but also be able to go into OG Metaltron easier without the need of generic Pendulum support.
So the Lore isn’t really over yet. At least, since we just got new cards introduced someway between Zefra Providence (The End) and Void Apocalypse/Zefra War (The War). I wonder when we are getting Ariel’s Nekroz Ritual and the Trap Card -_-
I really hope there’s more Nekroz cards on the way in the future
sadly, i don’t think we getting ariel’s nekroz ritual form.
Reason being Evigishki Neremanas, the art of that monster is nekoz ariel. while i was examining the card i realised that was the case, it is basically similar to how ritual beast has no ulti rampengu because they made daigusto laplampilica instead of keeping her in the ritual beast archetype.
“Reason being Evigishki Neremanas, the art of that monster is nekoz ariel.”
That can’t be the case. Neremanas is shown fighting Evilswarm Ouroboros alongside Avance in the art of Focused Aquamirror, and that took place during the second part of the Duel Terminal saga. Neremanas seems to be the final form of Ariel before her initial death at the end of that part before her body got turned into a Shaddoll.
the timing of this and Fable returning powered up by the Verz/Lswarm mask, it means the final battle of the people who saw everything from DT1 to DTNxt is going to be fire!!!
So there’s a bit of story that happens between the thousand day battle between tierra and zefraath. Makes sense that things happened within those three years, but it’s nice to know that they could add stuff while keeping it canon.
死徒 is the exact same term we translate as Dead Apostle in the Nasuverse fandom. So Infernoids are vampires? lol
