[VJMP] A Certain Theme Gets Its Own Link-4!
The first arc of the OCG Stories manga is coming to a end this month, but this doesn’t mean we are free from new support for THEM.

A mecha piloted by Azalea and Camellia in the manga. It’s stated that it “achieves supremacy over the field”.
Effect will be revealed by YU-GI-OH.jp on November 7th.
Also while obvious, it’s cited as a “Sky Striker Ace” related Link
That doesn’t look friendly!
I hope the new card is good. Because most new cards related to Sky Striker lore aren’t really bad and don’t have good synergy with Sky Striker itself.
We really need a Sky Striker card that can negate the Sky Striker spell’s need for the main monster zones to be empty while its on the field
I don’t think sky striker needs to be more generic. Rather than having it effectively errata the spells I would prefer if it could use the monsters in the MMZ as fodder for some kind of effect(even a negate at the end of the day) to turn open up the possibility to use the Spells.
That aside, what I think striker needs rn is stronger spells or simply faster access their bonus effect and more consistent access to Ray. Rn most meta decks grind and snowball resources better than striker (Vs for example), some even brake boards going second better(unchained, purrely) all while still having a strong turn one.
Striker needs nothing short of a engage 2 and sky striker fountain 💀 to be relevant again.

I had no idea this thing was in the manga, any manga for that matter, I figured it was a Myutant card or something.
Clever tie in to the Quarter Century V-JUMP celebration by representing the early Link era when Sky Strikers were prominent, while also cross promoting the end of their role in OCG Stories.
There should be two more anniversary promos left after this. Wonder what they will be.
