It’s never really goodbye…
This week, unannounced beforehand, Go Rush!! switched to its sixth ending song
サヨナラにはならない Sayonara nihanaranai (This Is Not Goodbye)
七瀬彩夏 Nanase Ayaka, singer for Star Rush, the fifth ending song, returns to sing. She notes the song is intended to give a dramatic feeling, as well as a focus on the friends you’ve made, even as you go your separate ways.
佐伯ユウスケ Saeki YouthK who sung Na Na Na Na Na Na Na as well as songwrote the Goha 7th Elementary Song and One Way, ending themes for Go Rush, returned to write the lyrics, arrange the song and compose this new ending.
YouthK explains he didn’t want the song to just be sorrowful, so he added a bit of an aggressive tone to it, but also expressing the energy of Dueling, communicating, meeting, and saying goodbye for now, and that Ms. Nanase’s voice adds to the impact of the song. He also explains he intentionally wrote this to have a different feeling and tone from that of the other songs he’s sung and wrote for the franchise.

I find it funny that they released a new GO RUSH’s Ending without any warning and without elaboration: they just released it in the recent Episode and that’s it (the Opening hasn’t changed)
I suppose that this will be the Ending that will accompany us in the last two Arcs for GO RUSH (since it is believed that GO RUSH will end around April or May)
GO RUSH should end the final week of March.
Sad ending incoming, probably.
“Best ending song I’ve ever heard” – guy who’s heard two ending songs before
It’s not looking good for Yudias, bros
It’s going to be wild if the kids’ YGO show ends up with a downer ending. While I read the summaries on Yugipedia, GO RUSH was a bit too goofy for me (I loved SEVENS, for the record), but it sounds like the last few episodes have been really good? I’ll have to get back into it.
