With the spheres on Magician’s staff as well, the card’s name is likely a pun on both Sphere and Fear.
It seems a bit too on the nose with what is happening in the anime right now for this to be a coincidence. I do wonder if there will be an anime tie in for the current arc.
This Boss Monster appears to occupy the slot related to cards that belong to the SEVENS’s Cast of the pack.
Therefore, the only ones who could use this card are Yuga or Otes and well… there was a lot of focus on Yuga in the current Arc…
Makes me wonder, will they do Otes retrains of the other Sevens Road cards over time?

If there going to do a dark knight reflection for all of the sevens road monsters, then I hope they release all of them in this dark mirror opposite theme. Does anyone else hope Otes gets a return for vengeance against Yuga, and for that rematch to take place back on the moon?

In fact… the ideas that are clear and still in doubt is “Otes is a Yuga, but SEVENS’s Yuga is not Otes.” Otes is not a paradox since he can interact without problems with Yuga.
Therefore, there are two possible options (and they are quite simple and there is nothing complicated):
– Otes is a Yuga variant that comes from the Far Future.
– Otes is a Yuga from a Parallel World.
