With the release of OTS Tournament Pack 10, the text for My Body as a Shield has been updated. With this update, the text now matches its OCG counterpart and Duel Links counterpart, whose updates we reported on previously.
“When your opponent activates a Spell/Trap Card or monster effect that would destroy a monster(s) on the field: Pay 1500 LP; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it. ”
In other words, even if it’s not directly visible, the restriction on activating My Body as a Shield during the Damage Step has been removed. You can find more details in our previous post.
In other news, the Portuguese version of the pack includes 10 additional Common cards to go with the “Assault Mode” theme, which haven’t been released in Portuguese so far, as well as some extra reprints for that purpose.
